Convenient for stop over whilst at F1 Gran PrixPosted Nov 10, 2013
Pros: Service and staff were great. 24hr room service was a blessing as me I as often returned to the room at 5am.
Cons: The safe and wifi in my room did not work but there was wifi in the coffee area.
Was perfect for me whilst I was photographing the F1 Grand Prix and parties for a client for 2 nights.

Not somewhere to stayPosted Feb 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
Not ideal it you have family, doesnt have a bar like most hotel, far to quiet and out of the way, not many of the taxi drivers no where it is.

Better hotels out therePosted Dec 31, 2012
Pros: Black out curtains
Cons: Unhelpful staff, unclean rooms, location not great
Had to take a smoking room although a non-smoking was requested in advance. Staff were unhelpful and room smelled very bad. Missing a shower curtain, hairs in the bath and on bathroom bench. Hotel is in an unappealing area of the city. Better hotels around for the money.

I booked the room after 6 pm and checked in at around 9 pm. I had a bit if of a problem at the reception counter because the booking was done after 5pm. During check out I was delayed for about 15 minutes because their system did not show the booking and payment. The toilet needed maintenance as the shower hanger was loose and water was dripping onto the floor. Having said that, my previous visits to the Hotel have been good. Not enough towels in the room.

Good base for your Abu Dhabi tripPosted Dec 15, 2012
Pros: Location, free parking, efficiency
Cons: Bathroom oddly designed, could be better cleaned; toiletries of not-so-great quality
Location: Center of Abu Dhabi, middle class neigborhood, lots of affordable and colorful shops and restaurants. 15 minute walk/3 minute cab ride to CBD.
Efficient, friendly check-in; room was far from elevators as requested; room was pleasantly decorated, clean, and cool; bathroom was on the small side and could have been cleaned better (a few soap stains noticed here and there; tiles need regrouting); TV worked well and had a good selection of channels; decent amount of power outlets; light bulb of one of the lamps was burned out; check-out was as equally efficient and friendly as check-in. Free underground parking is welcome, though cramped and limited in number of spaces. My only true gripe is that I was asked for a Dhs 200 ($55) deposit at check-in, despite the fact that my stay was fully paid for upon reservation. The receptionist said it was "hotel policy", though I've never heard of such policy in my life in any hotel I've stayed in. My guess is that it was because It was booked in short notice and because I live in Abu Dhabi, but who knows?

Great Value for Money, Avoid Restaurant!Posted May 19, 2012
Great value for money. Deserves definitely more than just three stars. Room was clean and spacious, but bathtub and bathroom in general could have been a little bigger. Avoid the restaurant! I ordered a big American breakfast and half the items (hash brown, bacon, orange juice) were missing. When I asked for them, the waitress simply told me that they didn't have them and didn't offer a substitutions or anything. Quite disappointing, because the rest of the hotel was superb!

Nice place.Posted Apr 19, 2012
We wnjoyed our stay here. The room was lovely, although quite small. The hotel had wifi internet access, but only in the lobby and restaurant. This was ok, but would have been better to have it in the rooms. Also, there wasn't really anywhere to sit to use the wifi, other than restaurant/cafe areas where I felt obliged to buy something in order to sit there. Hotel was located close to a shopping centre and we walked to the corniche in the evening (about 1.5km)
