Property Amenities
The landmark Las Brisas Acapulco resort occupies a tiered hillside overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Acapulco Bay. Guests are transported around the property by pink-and-white Jeeps, which operate 24 hours a day.
The private beach club on Acapulco Bay offers two saltwater pools and a freshwater pool with swim-up bar. A small spa offers treatments in private rooms or in guests' casitas (surcharges). An air-conditioned fitness center and a steam room are also on site.
There are two restaurants with ocean views, a deli, and 24-hour room service. A doctor maintains an office at the resort during the day and is on call around the clock.
Wireless Internet access is complimentary in the lobby and at Bellavista Restaurant.
Valet and self-parking are both complimentary.
Rooms
This Acapulco resort offers private and semi-private pink-and-white, one-story, flat-roof casitas (small, villa-like houses) terraced into a steep hill rising some 300 meters (1,000 ft) above the Pacific Ocean.
Casitas' locations are classified into five levels, each number representing additional height on the hillside and more spectacular views of the ocean or Acapulco Bay from terraces furnished with lounge chairs, two-chair dining sets, and umbrellas or shade tents. Each casita either has its own private plunge pool or shares a pool with one or two other casitas.
Brisas Beach Club rooms on the resort's fourth level and junior suites on the fifth level provide completely private terraces and are reserved for adults 18 and older. These rooms have upgraded amenities including two glasses of wine and hors d'oeuvres each evening.
Casitas and rooms are offered in the European Plan, which inlcudes room accommodations plus a complimentary "Brisas Breakfast".
All casitas are air-conditioned and have ceiling fans; louvered doors and windows capture breezes. The pink-and-white theme is followed in chair cushions and marble-topped tables. Rooms have 27-inch TVs and vanity areas. Marble bathrooms include stall showers (no tubs), and bathrobes are standard.
Each morning, guests receive a "Brisas Breakfast" (fresh fruit, sweet rolls, and Thermos of coffee), which is quietly slipped into a two-door "magic box" near casitas' doors, and guests retrieve it when they desire. Housekeepers scatter hibiscus blossoms inside casitas and on pool surfaces.

Recreation
In addition to the private/semi-private plunge pools of the casitas, guests of this Acapulco resort have access to a private beach club with two saltwater pools and a freshwater pool. The palm-fringed sundecks of the pools include cushioned lounge chairs, umbrellas, and shade tents. A fitness center, steam room, and spa services (surcharge) are also on site.
A water sports desk at the resort's beach club rents snorkeling gear and kayaks and arranges water skiing, fishing trips, and beginner and advanced scuba-diving lessons and excursions. Snorkeling opportunities lie within the beach club's two saltwater pools, home to numerous fish. Three lighted tennis courts are available at the resort (surcharges).
For a surcharge, the Las Brisas Acapulco offers a seasonal weekly Jeep safari, a five-hour tour that includes a stop at a freshwater lagoon, a bird-watching boat trip around the lagoon, canoe races, buffet lunch, and live music.
On nearby Acapulco Bay beaches, independent operators rent personal watercraft and motor boats and book parasailing flights and banana-boat rides. Hiking in the Sierra Madre Mountains surrounding Acapulco, horse riding on ocean beaches noted for surfing, and jet-boat river trips are popular activities. Acapulco has four championship 18-hole golf courses, all located about seven km (4.5 mi) from the hotel.

“Great service, great views, great people”
Comfort with luxury
“As good as it was last year”
I have been traveling to this hotel off and on since the 80's and while some would think age to be an issue the upkeep of facility and the professionalism of the staff have this facility aging like a fine wine.
“Wow, what an absolutly amazing place, a wonderful view, inaddition to an outstanding pool of our own”
Just all around Wonderful..Beautiful .....and Amazing..... I would go again in a heart beat.
“Honeymooner's paradise!”
This is a great hotel if you want a quiet romantic getaway. Nearly every meal we ate the restaurants was with a splendid view of the Acapulco bay! The service is amazing and the casitas are a real delight. I wouldn't recommend this hotel if you care about being close to the acapulco nightlife and the playa condesa..with the exception of the Palladium, everything is a 20 minute cab ride away.
“Good for family!”
Nice place quiet and perfect for families.
“BEST HOTEL ON EARTH”
If you want privacy, excellent view, great service, lots of rest & pleasure, this is the place. You have your own casita with everything you need, with a swiming pool included.
“Las Brisas in Acapulco - Safe and Great Service”
Stayed at Las Brisas for one week over the Memorial Day weekend. There were not a lot of US visitors but all was well.
“Impressed”
Very unique hotel
“Private”
If you're seeking a private and relaxing getaway, this is the place. The rooms and private deck with pool is very comfortable and the beach club is private and very relaxing. There are no crowds to deal with and you never have to fight for a lounge chair at the club. Both the swimming pool and sea pool are enjoyable. Not a place you can walk to other places but cabs are always available for a decent cost.
“A little slice of heaven”
Acapulco is one of the most beautiful cities in the world...so when you stay at Las Brisas you have the view of Acapulco. The beautiful bay and ocean during the day and the beautiful twinkling lights at night! The "casita" we stayed in was incredible! We had our own completely private in/out pool, very large family room, very large bedroom with big walk in closet, and the most romantic and large bathroom! The service at Las Brisas is like no other! They are willing to do anything for you so that you may experience a first class vacation. This is the perfect spot for a very romantic and perfect vacation. Can't wait to go back!
