Good locationPosted Jan 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel is in a good location but its poorer than a English B&B for example. However Osu and Accra hotels are expensive and for the money its probably not that bad value, although I have nothing to compare it to.

ByblosPosted Oct 1, 2012 on Hotels.com
Byblos Hotel should be taken off Hotel.com so unsuspecting visitors are not scammed the way I was. This hotel is dirty, the towels are torn, dirty and old. Rooms are unkempt, bedsheets are horrific. Beddings are not changed. The whole place is disgusting. Does not even qualify to be a Motel talkless of a hotel. Please delete it from Hotel.com

Not impressedPosted Nov 20, 2011

Cheap, good location. I was able to endure 3 days because I was out all day. Perhaps they have better rooms, avoid room 8. Overall a poor quality place even by African standards.

Byblos hotelPosted May 31, 2011 on Hotels.com
Middle of the city (Osu), $1 cab ride from independence square, good Wifi, excellent service, sub-par breakfast. The best part of my stay at Byblos was the wifi and the "concierge." They had a guy named "Innocent" that was the hotel owners servant and he showed me around the area and made sure I didn't get ripped buying my cell phone etc. But as a tourist beware of getting setup by the locals
