Stay away!Posted May 28, 2012 on Hotels.com
As a professional, I've stayed in many hotels. Admittedly, this was West Africa, but given the constant anxiety the management had about me paying my bill (why?), the poor food, the sewer smell emanating from the bathroom, the power outages and loss of internet service, the dog barking outside my window at night, and intermittent maid service, I strongly warn against this hotel. Basically, it sucks! Makes me not want to return to Ghana, which is unfortunate.

i stayed for one week, very comfortable. nice breakfast and good staff. nice deep pool and quiet surroundings. yeah definitely check it out. the staff are very attentive and prompt on your request. locationwise, its great, near beaches and shopping mall and bank. you wil definitely have a very satisfying stay.

Unique Palace Hotel, AccraPosted Dec 20, 2011 on Hotels.com
Clean hotel but rather far from the city centre and a bit difficult to find for taxi drivers. Restaurant had two main courses to offer. Lots of mosquitos in the room and no bednets. Friendly staff.

Unique Palace Hotel AccraPosted Dec 16, 2011 on Hotels.com
This is too far from Airport. The neigbhoood is wrong type. I would never recommend to people who have to go to the city regularly>

A UNIQUE EXPERIENCE IN ACCRAPosted Nov 16, 2011 on Hotels.com
I have no iota of reservation in staying at the hotel. I was not expecting anything close to the standard i got from a less than three star hotel in Accra. The staff were wonderful as they were regularly cheerful, friendly and available for assistance, with a welcoming sense of humour. The facilities are great and in good shape, ditto for the state of the equipment. I have started recommending the hotel and in no distance future when am in Accra again, i sure will stay in the hotel. The food were well prepared, taste nice and well served. The security men were quite handy but need more training in my opinion. I must state that from the airport, i was scared as the taxis told me it was a distance from the venue of my programme in Accra, and that traffic can be very bad. I therefore suggest that more PR should be done in this regard. Keep the good work on, please.
