it was ok for a night...Posted Oct 14, 2013
Pros: the room was pretty cool
Cons: the amenities could be improved there needs to be more to do. maybe a spa or something, and a bar or night club.
not much to do at the hotel. they dont serve alcohol or have room service. but I heard they will allow alcohol soon.

The Hotel was Fine. Not very close to any restaurants. Was disappointed that there was nothing about the Casino and Hotel being dry (no alcohol).

Good but BewarePosted Aug 27, 2013
Pros: Neat and clean.
Cons: Open advertised Alcohol Ban policy.
Location: Nothing to do beside hotel only McDonalds and gift shop.
A nice place overall especially for those liking a Casino environment. HOWEVER there is a no alcohol on the premises (ESP in you room) policy. This remains unpublished (even on Expedia) and the unsuspecting learn this only when a statutory declaration is hurriedly presented for signing on check in without any explanation. We had no problem with this policy only that it seemed to be handled in a less than upfront way. Next. Be aware the hotel is around 24 Kms from Acoma Pueblo the Native American hilltop village, which is probably the reason for your visit. The hotel itself sits right beside the motorway making it easy to access.

RECOMMEND NOBODY STAY IN THIS HOTEL! DISGUSTED!!!!Posted Jul 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
THIS HOTEL AND CASINO IS THE WORSE PLACE MY FAMILY AND I HAVE EVER STAYED AT. DIRTY WASH CLOTH WAS ON THE FLOOR AS SOON AS WE WALK IN OUR ROOM, ORDER ROOM SERVICE AND TOLD AFTER WAITING AN HOUR WE HAVE TO GO DOWNSTAIRS AND PICK IT UP OURSELVES! WHY OFFER ROOM SERVICE IF YOU HAVE TO PICK UP YOUR OWN ORDERS! RUDE EMPLOYEES, SHOULD HAVE BETTER TRAINED CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS ON SITE TO BETTER MAKE YOUR STAY. GETTING READY FOR BED, WE HAPPEN TO NOTICE MORE TRASH AND DIRTY HAIR TIE ON THE FLOOR BETWEEN THE BED AND THE NIGHT STAND. IT WAS DIRTY, SMELLY AND VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. IN THE BATHROOM, THE TOWELS AND WASH CLOTHS THAT WERE "CLEAN" WEREN'T...ONE WASH CLOTH HAD PUBE HAIRS IN IT! EXTREMELY DISGUSTING! WE COULDN'T EVEN CANCEL OUR RESERVATION IN TIME SO WE HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO STAY. BUT I WILL NEVER PUT MY FAMILY THROUGH THIS TORTURE AGAIN. IN THE CASINO RIGHT BEFORE YOU WALK IN, THERE'S A HUGE SIGN THAT SAYS, "NO ONE UNDER THE AGE OF 21 ALLOWED IN CASINO"...OKAY UNDERSTANDABLE....BUT WAIT, WHY? YOU HAVE TO BE 18 TO GAMBLE IN NEW MEXICO AND THERE IS NO ALCOHOL SERVED IN THE ENTIRE CASINO!!! HUGE BAR AND NO DRINK? WHAT IS THAT ABOUT? AGAIN, I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH HOW DISGUSTED I WAS WITH THIS HORRIBLE STAY!! THEY ARE RUDE AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT ANYONE CONSIDERING STAYING, SHOULD THINK OTHERWISE! STAY IN GALLUP!!!! EVEN IN THAT RAT HOLE TOWN YOU CAN FIND A BETTER HOTEL AND ACCOMMODATIONS!!! DISGUSTED!!!!

Convenient to Acoma PuebloPosted Jul 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
Service was appropriate. Quality of construction or maintenance lacking. Bathroom door would not shut easily. Areas around shower/tub showed unusual wear. Good place to stay before visiting Acoma Pueblo.

Bad experience all aroundPosted Jul 15, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel's female front desk staff was extremely rude. We were there for four nights and our room was only cleaned once. We were told that they were short staffed do to ceremonies and that is why our room did not get serviced. They didn't have enough towels so we had to wait for ours to be washed to get them back. The electricity went out for 45 minutes while we were in the pool and we had a rock in our food at the hotels restaurant. The beds were also very small. Overall we were very unhappy with our overall experience.
