"Car parking???? A few things you may want to know."
When my husband and I went to check in not alot was explained. I had to ask about parking to which was replied with they are all full and you need to park on the street across from the hotel. Also a $100 down payment is required incase you damage anything or take anything. This is charged to your credit card but is refunded in 5 days. Our room was very nice although one wall in the hallway wasnt painted and the ceiling didnt look the best. Also the shower didnt look that nice either. And the bathroom was quite small. The big bed was wonderful and the aircon. You do get free in house movies which was great, but only 2 channels of foxtel. In the morning we did sleep through our breakfast reservation so decided to order room service, there was no breakfast menu though so when I called the man at the front desk said we should have put our order out by 2am. The form to fill in is behind the door. Again this wasnt explained nor could we see the door in the room as we had a long hallway. The breakfast was very nice and the lady was very nice that delivered it. She said that the charge would come off our $100 down payment but it didnt. When we went to check out we had nothing to pay but within 20 mins I had a phone call saying that we didnt check out and that we never paid for our breakfast. Overall it is a very nice hotel, just not as professional and classy as they make it seem. Still a nice stay though.

Pocket Guide: Adelaide Adelaide CBD Choice Hotels

Surrounded by parkland almost three times the size of Manhattan’s Central Park, Adelaide is spread over 1.6 square kms (0.6 square mile) in a north-south, east-west grid of wide streets and four main squares. The main street, King William, runs from north to south through Victoria Square in the heart of the city. Some 29 parks are dotted within the central business district, and Australia’s most concentrated collection of department stores, boutiques, and specialty shops is located in Rundle Mall, home to more than 800 retailers. The city boasts in excess of 700 restaurants, cafes, and bars, with entire streets – such as Gouger and Rundle – evolving as “eat streets” of al fresco dining and international menus. Adelaide is renowned for its arts and theatre, and is the gateway to some of Australia’s most famous wine-growing regions. Free city-loop buses (“the Connector” and the solar-powered “Tindo”) visit the main tourist attractions.
