Cosy stay

Excellent location just set back from main street. Rooms are excellent and very comfortable. Gardens are really nice and pool is heated for the cooler months. Would stay again.

Great place to stay when visiting the Barossa

Posted May 6, 2014
The Hahndorf Inn and Lodge is a great place to stay when visiting the Barossa Valley. 40 minutes from Adeliade airport, 30 minutes to the heart of the Barossa Valley. Beautiful little town, full of surprises when shopping, excellent dining and coffee shops. The Inn is like walking into an old German pub, great food, great beer, great atmosphere. The people are always warm and friendly, just like the 3 beautiful open fires in the Inn. Many of the older shops even have open fires. Go when the weather is a little chilly, you won't regret it!!!

Pros: Good location
Location: Plenty of interesting things to do in this area
Quite a nice motel in the Hahndorf region. A little expensive, but has an excellent restuarant across the road

Very central, nice pool and good gardens

Posted Feb 11, 2014
Pros: Centrality, pool, spa and friendly service
Cons: Include breakfast for better value
Location: The whole Hahndorf experience is just 100 metres away.
Just very comfortable and on a 40 degree day the pool was cool and the spa inviting. Breakfast across the road at Huis was unusual but very good. Pleasant and comfortable.

Quiet and clean

I stayed at the Hahndorf inn for two nights the beds were comfortable the rooms clean. A good location, just a minute walk to the main street. The cost of the rooms were a little bit expensive but that's Hahndorf for you. I would stay again in the future.

Hahndorf Inn Motor Lodge

Pros: free and fast wifi
Cons: dated bathroom very basic
Location: excellent
We checked into a double bed + single room for one night. The room is dated but clean with the bathroom/toilet also aged, but clean. The mini bar consisted of two bottles of water and a small UTH milk. The air conditioning worked well as it was very cold outside. We didn't get to use the pool or other facilities as we were leaving in the morning. Check-in/out was a breeze. For a stop over etc not a bad spot. They seem to share the owners with the restaurant the "haus" and the other hotel "the manna". Wifi was free and the speed was excellent.

Convenience distance to airport and barossa valley

An excellent location with helpful and accomodating staff. Right in the centre of Hahndorf an easy walk to fantastic shops and meals. It was only a short drive to attractions such as self pick strawberry farm, cheese and chocolate factories, wineries, Maggie Beer's farm experience, and Victor Harbour.

Too expensive for what is provided.

Posted Feb 13, 2013
This hotel was too expensive for what was provided. The bathroom was poorly lit, the mirror small & hard to see. The room was basic. Extra costs for the use of the laundry. The reception staff were lovely.
