Close to everything

Pros: Very quiet and great little bar/restaurant in the hotel.
Four days in Adelaide for a conference in Elizabeth. This was a fantastic location, close to café strip, train station, buses and short walk to Botanic Gardens, Zoo, Adelaide Oval, Casino, etc.

value for money!

Posted Sep 10, 2014
Pros: water pressure of shower, auto-lit wardrobe, in room safe, free wifi
Cons: shower head can't be moved
Very convinient. 5-10 min walking distance to CBD mall. One side of the hotel faces a car parking building, however, it wasn't a problem for us at all. The room was quiet, clean, and the bed was comfortable. Not bad at all for the money we paid.

Central location

Posted Sep 10, 2014
Pros: Central location.
Cons: Air conditioning could be improved to reduce the noise.
Location: Main shopping street round the corner. Many restaurants close by.
We've only stayed one night at the hotel, from what we've experienced, the hotel is very central and closed to main shopping street. The room is comfortable, though the air condition is very loud even on lowest setting! On the whole, we are pleased with the accommodation.

Love this hotel

Posted Aug 26, 2014
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing comes to mind
Location: Close to several good restaurants Location is great for the city and also close to the river for that early morning exercise or late afternoon walk.
I have stayed at this hotel many times and their offering is always consistent. Rooms are well appointed and maintained. Close to Royal Adelaide Hospital for those needing to be close by.

Romantic getaway

Posted Aug 26, 2014
Pros: Room, bed comfortable, spacious, rooftop terrace, proximity to shops and bars, delicious hot breakfast
Cons: Use of bathrobes and slippers in the rooms
Location: We went out to dinner at the Belgian Beer Café,comedy in the Bunker, Austral Hotel. Lots of variety of shops/cafes visited markets following day
Had champagne flutes and an ice bucket waiting in the room when we arrived. Got a complimentary upgrade of room when I asked whether their was a bath in the room! Also got a complimentary late check out, so we could enjoy our breakfast in bed and didn't have to rush.. Staff were helpful and personable. Had a great weekend staying at the Majestic Rooftop Garden Hotel, Adelaide and still smiling!

A modern hotel with all of the facilities

Posted Aug 4, 2014
The Majestic Hotel is a modern stylish hotel with all of the features you would expect from an old traditional property. The room was well-appointed. The breakfast was great and great value (if you take up the multi-day discount in advance - only #20!). Room Service was even a notch above anything outside. This hotel is located in the centre of Real Adelaide, adjacent to Rundle Street and not far from the University of Adelaide. I attended a conference at the Convention Centre which was a 25 minute walk away...but what a beautiful walk along North Terrace it was. The staff were young, friendly and accommodating. They were a real help by printing my speaking notes (several times) - thanks!
