“Great beach location”

I've stayed in most of the Oaks apartment hotels in Adelaide & this one is as nice as the others, with a great location if you are vacationing on the beach. 2-3 minute walk to the Tram (with a Cibo right next to it), 100 yards to the beach.....pretty much everything within walking distance. These are great values for the $$ IF you want to save some $$ by eating some meals at home. Tram to Adelaide CBD/downtown is clean & safe, but it is a 30 minute trip and it stops running at 10pm or so. Cab ride is about $30 or so.

“Great Place To Stay”

Really pleased with this hotel. Stayed for 5 nights in May 07. The one bed apt. had everything you will need, washing machine with soap powder, dishwasher etc. Place was spacious and building very secure. Minor points were carpets a bit shabby, towels not changed and ran out of teabags, apart from that the perfect place to stay and very good value.

“Nice stay in Glenelg”

Apart from the minimal reception service, the apartment was very comfortable with a great bed. It had a full kitchen, including a full-sized fridge. It is well-located just out of the busiest part of Glenelg but easy walking from the tram stop and very close to the beach. Glenelg is a good location for getting into Adelaide city - about 20 mins on the tram which are safe and regular. Just don't expect hotel services as it is really an apartment block so you don't get room services [bed-making, towel changing etc] unless it is specifically paid for. I didn't see a laundry but there is a minimal gym and the pool, spa, etc looked pretty good.

Easy to get to and close to transport and shops. Near the beach and eating facilities. Roomy and clean.

“Stay Somewhere else!!!”

The room was not ready by check in time, when checked in the carpet was wet and the room had a horrible mould smell. The Pool, full of band aids and hair. Hot spa, yeah right!!! Stone cold. Check in staff on the defense straight up because of the flood of complaints by other customers. One night here was one night too many. Trust me for the money you can find much better accomodation in the area. Basically I blame the lack of cleaning, and check in staff with really poor customer focus.
