“Great Place To Stay”
The Rendezvous Hotel Adelaide was a great hotel in a great location. An easy one block walk to the tram to take you anywhere in the city. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The pool was great for lap swimming. The room service late nite food was excellent. The price was very reasonable compared to others in the area. I would definitely stay there again.
“Good hotel for a great price”
This is a good hotel, very comfortable, with good service. Nice details, like free internet (for 3 hours every day) and reasonably priced minibar. And the price was excellent, so it's a very good value hotel. But the breakfast could be better, for the price they charge. And the location is good, but not great for tourists. It's not far from the main tourist attractions, but it's not that close. During the weekend, the area is deserted.
“Mixed Feelings”
I had researched Adelaide hotels extensively and based on my research and the recommendation of a friend I decided to stay at the Rendevouz. I wanted an upper level corner room with a balcony and called the hotel reservation desk to ensure that if I were to book through Expedia I would not lessen my chance of getting this room. They ensured me that if I booked the middle grade room with Expedia my requests would be treated the same as other requests. When I checked in late at night I found that they had assigned me to a lower grade room which did not have a balcony and was smaller. When I questioned it the staff told me that I would not be able to be "upgraded" because they were entirely booked. When I pointed out the problem the next morning the manager moved me into the level room that I had booked and this was a corner room on an upper level. Once this was straightened out the remainder of our stay was very good. Hotel was very clean, staff helpful and friendly and location very good for visiting local sights.
“Would go again if the opportunity came up.”
The Rendezvous Allegra Hotel was a great place to stay. We were allowed an early check-in a big plus as we had flown in that morning and needed to refresh. The staff at the reception and concierge desk were helpful, attentive and were flawless in their work, being a very thorough and detail oriented person , this is something I always notice. It was nice to have a check-in that went smoothly. Some of the other hotels we stayed at - on this trip to Australia, that were supposed to be 5 star, were clearly not. I had booked everything for this trip online. The Hotel was very clean, modern, no odors, quiet, and all amenities of a 5 star that one should expect. We liked the fruit bowl in the lobby - we were having a hard time on our journey finding apples, and alas there they were, sweet, fresh, crisp and cold! That was a nice touch. The concierge staff were helpful in recommending delicious restaurants to us, and excellent directions, cab rides , etc. We were thoroughly satisfied.
