Great valuePosted Jun 2, 2014
Great hotel in wonderful little town. Comfy bed, great balcony with partial view of sea. Being able to use the facilities at the more posh hotel next door was a highlight. Fantastic sunsets. Nice breakfast. Wi-Fi only free in lobby. Up on a hill so if you walk down to the sea.....it's quite a hike up, but parking was very convient for a fee. Over all.....great stay!

If there are problems with the reservation, they are not solved quickly. The hotels seems that it was once of the top, but is getting old now (the furniture, the bathroom items, especially the shower cabin which was leaking a lot). Otherwise, the hotel is Ok.

Hotel Roza - near amenities u want w/out the pricePosted Jul 6, 2011 on Hotels.com
We stayed in the Hotel Roza this past weekend, and had a really wonderful time. The staff was friendly, the (free!) breakfast buffet was very impressive, and the location was perfect. The biggest draw though was it's proximity to the Grand Hotel Metropol (literally right next door), and the availability of the Metropol's amenities to Hotel Roza guests. We spent the day at their private pool/beach, and enjoyed drinks at their bar and on their balcony. Ideally it would be amazing to have stayed at the Grand Hotel Metropol, but that was out of our price range, so the Hotel Roza worked out great. One thing though - we asked for a room with one double bed for two people, and ended up with a room with three single beds. Very strange. Overall, definitely two thumbs up!

Comfortable and great viewsPosted Sep 29, 2010
Comfortable hotel in Portoroz, although in somewhat higher price bracket. Rooms with view of water are worth getting, and also have wireless connection (although patchy). It provides free access to private beach and swimming pool, via neighbouring hotel Metropole.

Hard to find but worth the effortPosted Apr 27, 2008
I was just there overnight on a business trip. Took me quite a while to find it, its opposite th Grand Metropole Casino on the hill. Parking very difficult. Hotel iteslef was very pleasant, clean tidy room, soft bed, no coffee making facility. No air con. O.K for an overnight business stay, I'll probably use it again.
