This actually is a nice hotel close to the beach!

Posted Jul 2, 2014
Pros: It is really close to the ferry jetty. It is simple but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was of a good standard without being outstanding.
Location: There are some reasonable beaches and the water is incredible - so clear. The star of the show is the volcano - well worth the hike up and the descent
Going to Stromboli was one of the best things I did on my trip, if not the best. It is a bit of a trek to get there - the ferry ride on the way back was pretty rough. But if you are fortunate enough to be there when the volcano is really active (but not too active), it is an amazing thing to see - one of the few things humans have not messed up as yet.

Very nice hotel

Pros: We stayed 4 nights and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast and great Italian coffee every morning.
Location: Very close to port and beach. We swam every day at the black-sand beach. We saw spectacular volcano eruptions from the restaurant L'Osservatorio.
Our sea-view room had a large private terrace and very comfortable large room. Many excursions were offered right outside of our hotel and we took one available boat trip. Beautiful water and hot sun. Wonderful vacation spot..

Nide hotel, room could be better

Posted Jul 23, 2013
Pros: Location, Good breakfast.
Cons: Rooms not up to scratch.
The exterior looks really nice and a few rooms have balconies that face the ocean. Our room did not. The room was cramped and dated. The bathroom had mould on the wall above the shower. The price of the room was reasonably high and to be honest I expected more. There is only a handful of hotels on Stromboli so you don't have much choice. We were there to climb the volcano which I highly recommend, It's one of those bucket list things to do. You do need to be in reasonably good physical condition and no fear of heights. When we got back to the hotel we were sufficiently exhausted so any bed was a welcome sight.

Close to ferry, staff soo accommodating with good English, rooms large and comfortable our had a lovely view of the Volcano, the neighborhood was warm and lively. The food on the island particularly fish and pasta are wonderful. The breakfast is more than adequate. Do not miss the hospitality of the hotel as well as the beauty of the island a combination for all.

Excellent location less than 100 yards from where the ferry docks and easy to walk to everywhere. Very comfortable bed, lovely big towels and immaculately clean. Wifi everywhere with password from reception. Really nice breakfast buffet with as much freshly made coffee as I could drink. Very helpful ladies on reception.
