We loved to stay in this hotel, location is excellent and Ariana and Lorenza were very nice and helpful when specially we needed some information about Lipari and others islands. I wish I could remember all names because the whole staff was wonderful. Special thanks to this gentleman that was there almost every night during our stay always helping us! Rocce Azzurre is a lovely hotel with this natural "swimming pool" right in front of it! We definitely would stay there again.

The views from our room were amazing with balconies and sea views on 2 sides. The room was generous in size. The shower however was in the bath and had to be held to use. There is a lovely outside lounge area for drinking coffees or aperitifs. The setting for breakfast/lunch/dinner is also amazing though the food itself is nothing spectacular. Even for lunch you are forced into a 3 course set menu which was far too much food for us. The hotel is a short walk from lots of great bars and restaurants however. There was no evidence of any spa. The hotel did help us to go on a lovely boat trip with Alliante. This was great except that whilst all other expenses were put on the room they asked for the boat trip in cash at the last moment at check out when we had few euros left! Some warning on that would have been helpful. Overall the location is great and the staff try hard to please but it’s not quite there as a perfect experience yet. A special mention to the cleaning staff who unobtrusively cleaned our room each day with thoughtful touches.

Dear Mrs E., thank you for your review. We would like to specify a few things. At your arrival, our Receptionist did a tour of the hotel with you, explaining all of our facilities, including that we have a SPA on the 4th floor of our hotel (even in the lift, it is written that on the 4th floor we have a rooftop spa, including, 2 Jacuzzi, Turkish bath, Sauna, Emotional Shower, Hairdresser and Beautycian). It is not true that we force a 3 course menu as you can choose only to have 1 dish for lunch or dinner. When we organize boat trips, we always say at the moment of booking that for the payment of the trips we only accept cash, so you knew in advance that you had to pay cash. We are happy to see that you enjoyed your upgraded room (from a standard to a Junior Suite) but unfortunatly you didn't benefit from the Jacuzzi Bath in your room. We hope that in the near future you will come back to enjoy all our services. Best Regards The Manager

Excellent sea views from everywhere
Friendly people with good sense of humour .. classic service with a true family feel .. little local beach with ice cream always available .. all with an ease of professional pride in their endeavour .. just minutes away from a small local port of fish and cafes ..

Overpriced hotel
Nice settings with direct access to the sea via a platform and a dangerous rickety ladder. You need to be for to negotiate it. Rooms are ok in term of deco and comfort. Breakfast is nice and plentiful. Dinner ok. But this does justified the online discounted price. And be careful not to charged for email access, beach towel and credit card payment.

great terrace overlooking the sea
the hotel is within walking distance of the town center, yet also in a very quiet position, and most rooms have (at least partial) sea view; staff at the reception are extremely helpful
