Very very Average hotelPosted Oct 27, 2013
The night staff at the reception are not smiling, they don't seem to be interested by customers, they're just talking between them. I was given two single bed instead of a double bed, when i complained they didnt do anything about it. It's only when a local expedia agent came the next day for my welcome meeting that i was allocated a new room, he had to speak with the hotel himself. The wifi is not working on the 4th floor, rooms are not nice, it looks old, beds are so uncomfortable. The only good things was the milles & une nuit bar next to the pool at night. Do not be deceived by the good review !!

Nice hotel, good locationPosted Oct 26, 2013
Good location near to lots of restaurants and the beach. Staff were really friendly. We asked for a double bed instead of the two singles and got moved to a recently renovated room which was much better than the last. Really good value for money.

Tough GigPosted Aug 19, 2013
Pros: Location; beach and shops nearby
Cons: A 2/3 star standard of hotel
Definitely not a four star hotel, despite the hotels protestations to the contrary. Started badly when we had to wait about an hour and a half for our room despite arriving after the check in time of noon. A number of niggles with the room (e.g. had to ask for a fridge despite prior request, were given a folding bed instead of requested twin bed, no remote control for tv, broken shower head, bed linen dirty). Breakfast is a bit of a farce. Limited buffet that doesn't change and if you arrive before 7.30 there is no hot food. They are constantly running out of cups, glasses and cutlery with waiters running round in comical fashion pinching items from diners tables. Gym okay but equipment not maintained; a number of items not working. My biggest gripe was the over zealous waiter who stopped us bringing water into the hotel. Bear in mind the temperature was about 40C outside and you can buy a bottle of water for 6 dirhams outside but the hotel want you to buy from them at 20 dirhams. He was very rude which prompted me to complain to management. They did apologise profusely and gave us a room upgrade for the last two nights of our stay; unfortunately the air conditioning in the room didn't work properly, there was a constant smell of sewage and as the room overlooked the pool and bar there was loud music blaring night and day which could not be blocked out and therefore it was impossible to get any peace and quiet; on our last night it went on until 2.00am in the morning.

GOOD VALUE HOTELPosted Aug 11, 2013
Pros: The Morrocan architecture
Location: Not too far to walk to the Cornich and then onto the beach.
We had asked for 2 rooms on high floors, adjacent if possible. This was booked several months in advance. Arriving at 1.30am after 2 plane journeys, we were rather tired. The person at reception thought we had one room and we had to wait while he found another. We were on the 2nd floor, rather than the top floor, and the rooms were a some distance away from each other. We asked the rep. next morning if it could be changed, but never heard any more. The rooms were very spacious and clean and comfortable, with large balconies. Our hotel was quiet, but disco noise from the opposite hotel could be heard until late, I think maybe the Adrar Hotel. The pool was very good, not overcrowded and enough sunbeds. The breakfast was not very interesting, the same every morning and not enough choice. The fruit salad was bland, no brown bread or any variety of bread and only scrambled eggs. Did not have evening meal so can't comment. The dining room was very elegant. Overall, the hotel was good value and we had a pleasant stay.

Lovely view over the seaPosted May 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
This was our fourth visit to this hotel. As always the staff were very helpful and efficient. Breakfast and evening meals were good with interesting variety in the evening particularly. The location is good for shopping and for walking to the promenade. Also it is easy to catch a taxi from outside the hotel in order to visit local places of interest, e.g. souq, craft/carpet cooperative, etc. This not a luxury hotel but we have always felt well cared for. The pool is very good and very clean. We are independent travellers and do not want entertainment or full board or British TV channels. We are very happy with good simple food, well cooked and well presented. We wish to be out and about, meeting local people. This hotel meets our needs and does so very well.
