Set in a bay, this small resort has pretty coves and beaches enclosed by red cliffs and rock. Round the bay is the Pointe de la Baumette with a lighthouse and a memorial to the French airman and author, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. Agay is 10 kilometres east of St Raphaël and a good starting point for visiting the rugged Massif de lEsterel, characterised by the dramatic colours of its porphyry rock, used for monuments since Roman times.
