Worst bed and "breakfast"

Posted Aug 19, 2013 on Hotels
This is problably the worst bed and breakfast we've ever been to. First of all, there were no employes when we arrived - we had no idea where to go, before another guest told us where he thought it might be. Actually we didn't see the owner or any employes for the three days we visited. The location is a big fat lie - it takes 1,5 hour (when you are inside the bus!!!) to get to the Amalfi coast - The busses are supposed to leave once per hour, but often they are to full, or doesn't show up (we waited for 5 hours, to get to the beach!). The coast is not 5 km away, but 11 km! The are no "bed and breakfast" only "bed" - you have to buy yourself and use the common fridge - which is disgusting and smells like a dead animal. The price was unbelievable high, compared to the standard of the room, service and location. Afterwards we had 8 nights on a four star hotel in Napoli, for the same price. Not acceptable!

Budget Bed and Breakfast

Posted Nov 4, 2012 on Hotels
It is what it is. An inexpensive Bed and Breakfast. We were traveling to Amalfi coast and to Pompei and also Mt. Vesuvias. The Citi Bus from Naples main train terminal drops you off almost directly in front of Sentiero and picks you up to take you to Amalfi coast which about a 40 minute ride or to Naples and Pompei. Hotel is simple but if you want a resort than this might not be for you. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Just be sure if you are going to arrive late at night let them know and they will leave a key to your room and give you directions. Morning consisted of nice pastrys and good coffe. You are in an old Italian village where most cannot speak good english but are very nice and helpful. Good experiance s since we are not the resort type but would prefer to be away from touristy areas. Prices in villiage are very inexpensive food is great.
