Lunch items include crab cake sandwich with chipotle mayonnaise and Caesar salad with grilled prawns, scallops, and gorgonzola. “Nice hotel, convenient, just West of 101”

This is a very well maintained hotel, just West of the 101 Freeway in Agoura HIlls. Staff are friendly. Grounds are well maintained. Rooms are well maintained. Overall, very happy with stay.

Area recommendations

The area is a residential area. The Oaks Mall in Thousand Oaks if you want to go shopping. Tourist attractions, per se, would be in Malibu or LA (30 miles away)

“Clean, comfy, but loud.”

The location of this hotel was great. It was 15 minutes from Malibu and right down the road from great restaurants. The only bad thing I have to say (and major at that) is that the bar was extremely loud!! We were first put in a room right by the bar and then asked to be relocated. They were very accommodating at giving us a new room; however, the next night it was like a party was in the bar! At least 25 people brought in their own beer and even though we were on the 4th floor, we were able to hear them loud and clear as the party had moved from the bar to the pool below us at 1:30 a.m. Only tip I have is to never go to this hotel when their is a convention going on!!

“Great location, super nice and the price was right!”

The Renaissance Agora Hills was the perfect haven for me when I made a last minute decision to spend the night in the Westlake Village area while there for business rather than fight traffic and rain to Orange County. I selected the hotel based on location and price--luckily they had an amazing promotion going on. What a deal, I was in awe of the quality of the hotel and service for that price. Lovely lobby and lounge area, my room was wonderful and quiet and the room service staff could not have been friendlier or more efficient. I was greeted as I was leaving that morning and asked if I needed assistance. The location is super close freeway access yet very peaceful and quiet. Next time I'm in the area I won't even think about it, I'll be back

“Can't wait to go back”

The front desk attempted to be helpful, however, you probably should not ask for surrounding restaurants. They will tell you there are many and only give you a menu for one. The rooms are pretty spacious, but the bed was not that comfortable. The bedding itself was quite comfortable and we loved the giant pillows. Conveniently located near the freeway and other restaurants. Would definitely go back.

“Smooth as silk”

The hotel was delightful. Well maintained and comfortable. But the staff is what makes or breaks a venue. The staff at the hotel exhibited the highest degree of customer service. Every one had a smile in their voice and no one failed to speak to us - in the hall, in the elevator, at the desk. It does not matter how lovely the hotel and rooms are. If the staff are uncaring that attitude is passed to the guests and everyone's attitude tanks.

Area recommendations

Agoura Hills is a beautiful site 25 miles north of LA. The hotel is located right off the 101. Easy on and easy off.
