“Happy to go back”

Hotel staff were very helpful. The taxi driver had tried to take me to another hotel suggesting that the location and quality of the hotel was poor. On arrival the staff couldn't have been more helpful in assisting with travel suggestions.

“Basic, and what you should expect for the price”

The proprietor couldn't have been more helpful and pleasant - he's a very engaging guy. The room could've been cleaner, though, and it was also somewhat run down. For the money it's probably what you'd expect, although from the reviews I read I thought it would've been nicer.

“A Shabby Experience”

There is no hot water: after two requests, the staff brought a bucket of hot water to the room. The rooms on the ground level are filled with mosquitos: guests have to spray the rooms with bug spray themselves. There is no wifi. The rooftop garden/restaurant has been abandoned. It's in a great location near the Taj, but that's all that it has going for it.

“Location, location, location ...”

You cannot beat the location for its proximity to the West Gate of the Taj Mahal - less than a minute's walk. The staff were very friendly and helpful; we were consistently greeted with a smile from each and every one of the. Although there was no running hot water in our room, buckets of hot water were delivered promptly on request. Unfortunately, the roof terrace restaurant was not open due to monkeys. Overall, however, considering the cost of the room, this hotel offers good value for money, for a brief stay to see the Taj.
