“a refreshi8ng and pleasent surprise in agra”

this is a budget hotel, but in india this concenpt can often come with nasty surprises... we found this hotel exceeded our expectations, thus was a welcome and pleasent surprise especially their restaurant, which was really good (there was no hot water, but so what.. its warm enough that a cold wash is OK) it's about a 15min walk to the taj mahal, and has various convienent nearby things like cash point, wine-seller, etc (you need the cash point given what they want to charge for the wine!)

“View alone, worth the money plus some”

I met a businessman from England on the trip who stayed at the $200 plus a night Radisson. He came to my hotel rooftop terrace all the time for food and drink due to the unbelievable view of the Taj.

Hotel is nice and warm, very near to Taj Mahal.. Even the road is a VIP road so it is really safe to walk around the hotel after you had your meals etc.. The people are friendly and helpful.. The staff is also very helpful and try to help you out as much as possible... I would definitly go back to the same hotel if I am visiting Taj Mahal..

“Really good location for Taj Mahal visit”

Rooms are a bit basic but pretty clean (including clean sheets!). Aircon makes a lot of noise (but prevents that you hear noise from outside) and is not very effective, but together with fan we were comfortable. Not always hot water. It is really close to East gate of Taj Mahal and has stunning (full) view on Taj Mahal from Roof Terrace which makes up for a noisy aircon or lack of hot water. Staff is very friendly. Very good value for money.

The hotel is 5 minutes walk from the Taj Mahal. It's true and it is very convenient. Our room was quite clean but very cold, hot water was lukewarm. But we believe the hotel correspond to its price.

Very close to Taj Mahal east gate. 5 minutes walk. Good and afordable meals avaliable all day long. I only wish medium level hotels like this would heve more western style bathrooms and showers... as you shower, the whole bathroom gets wet. Pick up at train station was on time. I do recomend this hotel.

Very near to Taj, a little bit far from local market (but does not matter much, I believe). Good view of Taj from some rooms and terrace. Clean rooms. Well decorated and maintained hotel. Only flaw, no lift, problem for elderly. Overall, a good and satisfactory experience.

Water was not chilled in summer time as there was no refrigerator to keep water.

Can walk to the Taj Mahal from here, but the rooms are not upto the mark. The noise from the neighborhood is bad. The restaurant in the hotel has bad food.
