The hotel is old & smells stuffy. Some areas like lobby & rooms are fine but bathrooms are outdated & old. Looks like some portions are renovated or painted but other areas are neglected & brings the hotel down. The gym is outdated & in poor condition. The breakfast buffet was good.

The hotel was nice. We stayed in a family room and asked for an extra pillow for my daughter who was on a fold away bed and they said they could not give us one, we had to use one from the bed in the room. This was disappointing as all the other hotels we had stayed in previously on this trip had been accommodating with this. The shower facilities were very good - nice and hot at all times of the day. Breakfast was nice and had a range of foods to choose from. Overall, a good stay.

Great Hotel
For what you pay this is a very nice hotel with friendly staff in a quiet (ish) area of Agra. Near enough all the highlights including the Taj. If you are looking for a mid range hotel in Agra we would definitely recommend coming here.

Nice quiet room near Taj Mahal
Nice quiet room overlooking the swimming pool. Comfortable bed and spacious room. The hotel was a short (Rs 50) auto ride from the restaurants and cafes in Taj Ganj from which you can walk to any of the Taj Mahal’s gates. Only negative points were that about half the machines and the air con in the gym were broken.

A good deep clean to make the world of difference
The hotel was generally clean apart from the pool and spa area that looked a little dirty in places (on walls, around light switches). Dusting had clearly not been done under chairs in the main lobby and there was noticed clutter in the stairwells. The rooms were ok, beds softer than usual. There was sometimes a noise in the ceiling that sounded like a football was being bounced which kept me awake for a while but on inspection I couldn’t work out where it was coming from. The food we had was very good and prices were reasonable. We always had good service and when frequently asked for more water for the room we were never declined. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly and overall it was a pleasant stay.

Hotel took booking for smoking room... Did not provide any. Made some foolish statement of non-smoking property which i could not find written anywhere. Staff has tendency or may be target for billing so took me on ransom to pay for non-worthy restaurant. Really .... find some place else !

Close to the Taj - but that’s about it
Location is convenient to get to/from the Taj Majal, but that also means it is very noisy and the smell of the city (pollution, sometimes sewage) also gets into your room. The terrace bar/restaurant is the most attractive advertised feature, but the hotel failed to indicate it is closed for renovation. Overall the hotel feels very outdated (even the nath towels felt worn) and there Ian nothing charming about the place.

very tired around the edges, some of the staff look bored and like they can't really be bothered, the food was mediocre and the rooms really weren't all that great. I expected more for 4 starts.

We went on a busy weekend and most of the hotels were booked so ended up here. This was so not worth the price. I try to find a Hilton group hotel or Radisson and they were in a sold out situation. Only plus point was service. Staff was extremely helpful. Food was totally horrible. Will not stay there again or recommend.

Nice hotel close to the main attractions
Agra has only a few attractions but these few are indeed magical. The Taj Mahal, Agra fort and Fatehpour Sikri are the main attractions. The hotel is a good choice to get out of the madness of traffic.

Food was good. Accommodation satisfactory. A little maintenance would be required to get it up to the 4 star we know in the UK. But a perfectly good hotel and well worth the price.

I stayed there over Christmas time and they tried to charge me for a "mandatory" Christmas diner. I raised hell to the manager about it. Also, staff don't know how to say good morning, thank you, sorry, you are welcome, excuse me...they need a training in manners with international tourist. Finally, internet wifi was not working well.

Highly recommend this hotel
In a city that boasts many overpriced properties of hotel chains, this was an excellent discovery. The rooms are great, the service excellent and food is fine. The location is excellent as both the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort are pretty close. All in all a very pleasing experience

We spent more than 60 pounds only to get comfortable stay in Agra but at night air conditioning was not working. Room service was not answering and at last at the time of check out manager was very rude, bad behaved and not customer focused.

A cost effective option in Agra
I had to book 3 rooms for family and didn't want to spend much. Fern in Agra provided a cost effective option. The location is good (located on the same street as all other large hotels) and the breakfast was good. The air conditioning wasn't effective and the hotel upkeep could be better (the windows had dust on the outside).

Good hotel close to the Taj
The staff were very welcoming and worked quickly to resolve a problem with the wifi. The room was clean. We booked this hotel in part because it had a pool but the pool was empty. No concession was given for this (nor asked for).

There was no ventilation in the room, all windows locked permanently with screws and bolts. That is why the environment of the room was not comfortable. We tried to switch on AC but it was not working.
