“good for a basic hotel”

For the price this was fine. We brought and used our own sheets just in case. There was just one towel for two people so might want to bring towels too. The tents or "cottages" don't actually have a taj view, they face a brick wall but a staircase gets you the view. Breakfast is basic but there's a cafe coffee day across the street.

“The locoation is great, grounds well kept. No top sheet bottom sheet dirty!”

The location is great, very close to Taj. The grounds are well kept but the rooms are in need of repair, a little paint and a good cleaning. The lighting in room very dim, perhaps to hide the dirty bottom sheet. There was no top sheet. There was a TV , I did not turn it on so I don't know if it worked. The shower worked and there was hot water (they have the small on demand hot water heaters ).The towel was stained but I think clean.( Most of the towels in India are stained by minerals in water?I think?) If you just order toast at breakfast then you get jam and butter but if you order eggs and toast No butter and jam I guess that goes with the same reasoning as No top sheet?? No Beer at outdoor restaurant and the night I was there the hotel was hosting a busload of tourists dinner at the outdoor hill restaurant . The staff OK but would not win any awards. I don't know if I would stay there again. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. My friends stayed in tent room and liked it, but as in my room no top sheet. I only stayed one night at this hotel and if I were to return to Agra I would splurge and stay in a 4 or 5 star hotel and stay for 2 days. You need 1 day at the Taj and 1 day at the fort.
