Higher expectations, much lower in realityPosted Sep 11, 2013
The hotel looks very nice in its web site and also on expedia. However, in reality it is not in a good shape. The rooms are big and wide and the bed was not bad... but these are probably the only two advantages... The main issue is there are no hot water availble, unless you request for it. It is coming after 15 minutes, but still - it is not stated in advance and therefore reflects dishonesty. Disnonesty, is generally the feeling that we received in Agra. The tourist guy in the hotel (who is working in the hotel) was dishonest with information about the bus from Agra to Jiapur (which is available several times a day and NOT only at once a day 6 am), he charges us much more than he should, for transportation to the Taj and back, and then to the bus station. Hence, the overall feeling was not good.

Pros: The restaurant was nice and very comfortable. The price for the rooms is very good value too.
I would have paid more. It was very good value and clean.

Affordable luxury hotel in the heart of the city.Posted Aug 13, 2013
Pros: Complimentary breakfast is not your typical free breakfast. Choices were excellent and service was above par.
Cons: Electronic security system kept chiming all throughout the two nights we stayed causing an annoyance
Location: Walking distance to Taj and very close to Agra Fort.
Once inside the building, well appointed and comfortable rooms shield away from the hustle and bustle of the surroundings. Very close to the main attractions and a staff that is eager to please.

Comfortable hotel close to Taj MahalPosted Jul 23, 2013
Pros: Food TV services Good location (near Agra Fort and Taj Mahal)
Cons: Hot water cleaner bedding
Location: Agra Fort and Taj Mahal are both close by and worth visiting
I visited this hotel with my Fiance in July. The hotel lobby and rooms are generally neat and clean. The bedding was a bit dirty but was replaced immediately upon our request. The room service and food was amazing. For some reason there was little or no hot water coming from the shower. I didn't mind considering it was summer time in Agra but its definitely something you would want fixed in winter. Overall the hotel is well organised, affordable and conveniently located. There is definitely some room for improvement (which would push it to 4-5 star rating) but I would recommend it as an option for friends and family visiting Agra.

excellent weekend stayPosted Jul 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel is fresh, clean n maintained well. The rooms are uber comfortable. Have to mention that the pillows were extra soft n comfy!! With very courteous n extremely helpful staff, our stay was one of the best hotel experiences till date! The only drawback was however the very slow n delayed service at the breakfast a la carte. Definately a 4 out of 5!

Very ComfortablePosted May 9, 2013
Pros: The beds were ridiculously comfortable
Cons: The internet never worked the entire time we were there - a very frustrating experience for long term travelers who were counting on internet access.
Location: A quick ride to the Eastern gate of the Taj Mahal but not much of interest around the hotel.
A very comfortable hotel. Friendly staff for the most part, sometimes awkward. A real pool! Delicious complimentary breakfast buffet. A great RETREAT from the heat and dust of Agra.

An good, clean place to stay to see the Taj MahalPosted Apr 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel is clean and very close to the Taj Mahal ticket booth. Staff was very friendly. The room is nice and big but has a faint smell of sewer. Probably the city is to blame rather than the hotel because that's how Agra generally smells. Included breakfast which was nice and the pool was also a welcome break from the scorching heat. We hired a car to take us to Jaipur at the hotel's lobby travel desk and the driver was falling asleep on the way. Make sure to ask for a driver who's had proper sleep if using those guys.

Didn't have great expectations when we booked the hotel since we were there for just a day. Were happy with the rooms and service. Staff was friendly. We wouldn't mind staying there again.
