“Agrigento BEST choice relaxing quiet and close to all attractions in Agrigento”

This has to be one of the best hotels in Agrigento!!! hard to find and approach to hotel is interesting BUT worth the search!! Get gps coordinates and its easy to get to, exit on the road is quick, We will go back next time in Sicily,, staff is great.. This is like a country farmhouse BUT 5 star!!! Beach is close, staff sent us to all the best spots and shopping. Breakfast was always good. Short drive to temples and City of Agrigento.

“Beautiful place”

Highly recommended. Staff are really friendly and helpful. I felt like a royalty when the person at the reception desk bow at me when he greeted us. Very clean hotel and very good breakfast. We had a romantic dinner with candlelight on their patio. Very good food. Their location is hard to find but it is worth all the trouble. I would definitely stay there again.

“Lovely hotel in beautiful area”

The inside of this hotel was tiled beautifully. It is a small hotel and very quiet. The grounds are beautiful with each room having it's own outdoor seating area. The breakfast was also good. Very nice staff and great value.

“A hidden jewel!”

This is a relatively new hotel and can be difficult to find. It is located down from the main City of Agrigento and below the restorations on the way to the sea. We received our best directions when we went to the ruins and asked for directions from there! The hotel is spectacular. New, clean, bright and very good sized rooms, many with balconies. The staff spoke English and were very warm friendly and helpful. I would say this hotel is a "don't miss" on a trip to Sicily.

“A Hotel for the Temples”

We enjoyed our stay at Demetra Resort as it was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. The evening meal we had, we felt it was not a large serving ie. it was a small serving. The hotel was well located for visiting the Valley of the Temples and good advice was provided. The were plenty of restaurants nearby at San Leone

“Peaceful retreat”

Demetra Resort is seven minutes from The Valley of the Temples which makes it a great location. It's in the country so it's very peaceful. You're surrounded by lemon and orange orchards right by your windows. The hotel is beautifully decorated and extremely clean. The bed was very comfortable. There is a private patio off of your bedroom. Breakfast is satisfying with breads, fruit, yogurt and delicious coffee. We had a very restful experience in Demetra Resort and wished we could have stayed longer. The staff was quite pleasant. I would stay there again.

“Pleasant and well located”

We enjoyed our stay. However, travelers should be aware that many of the rooms have an upstairs/downstairs arrangement which means you may need to go downstairs in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. The hotel also has units that are all on one floor, so if this is a need for you, specify up front. The resort needs to put clearer map instructions/directions on its website. The entrance road is essentially an unpaved road that parallels a major highway.
