Close to the Greek ruinsPosted Oct 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
We stayed 1 night at Hotel Del Viale and although we personally might not chose it again, we were treated well and we had no problems. It's a decent budget hotel and decent value for a last minute booking. There are a couple of terrific restaurants 2 minutes walk from the hotel. There is a bus a the corner down to the entry point in Valley of Temples. The breakfast was fine and staff was friendly.

Good hotel in a central locationPosted Jul 25, 2013
Cons: The shower!!
Location: Very central and handy for the town and for visiting the Temples.
Pleasant Hotel, very well located for the centre of the town and handy for the Temples. Hotel is in a back street and parking is on-street and can be challenging. Rooms are OK. Only problem I had was a which was small shower hard to get in and out.Staff are are helpful but no English spoken. Take a phrase book. Breakfast was OK if not bountiful!!

Central locationPosted May 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hotel is tucked behind other buildings so no view, but central to old part of Agregento and easy access to Greek ruins. Despite narrow street, parking was available. Nighttime noise from street party.

Situated in back street. Basic but comfortable. ROOMS BEING UPGRADED. Nightclub 2 doors away operates Fri and Sat nights until 1 am.Recommended restaurant Il Vicolo, via celauro 8 (Traversa via Atenea )in old town
Basic hotelPosted Sep 24, 2012 on Hotels.com
This place is very very basic. Our TV did not work and the WIFI connection kept kicking us out. The bathroom is outdated as well. However, it's 10 minutes from the train station and the downtown area. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Well located but basicPosted Aug 13, 2012 on Hotels.com
The photos on hotels.com are accurate but make the hotel look much better than it really is. Rooms are an adequate size but very basic and all views are of a building across the lane. The hotel is located very close to the main street. Wifi didn't work very well.

Perfect for us.my dad needed the elevator and there was parking nearby when we needed it. Improvements and repairs are being done but it was no problem.

Nice HotelPosted Jun 27, 2012 on Hotels.com
My family and I stayed here for two nights. It was nice and neat. It's in a back alley, but there are plenty of signs that direct you there so that is not a problem. It's near lots of little restaurants and shops which is great. It was comfortable, but nothing to brag about. We got a corner room which was very large--that was great. The best part about the hotel is hands down the staff. They were very nice and went above and beyond to be helpful. We would probably stay here again---the price was great and so was the location.
