Great experience!Posted Oct 25, 2013
Location: The Temples are a fairly short drive from the bed and breakfast.
One of the best bed and breakfast places we have stayed at. Dario was extremely helpful. He even came to chauffer us to his place when we could not find it.The view from the balcony is lovely, the rooms very clean and comfortable, the breakfast was exceptional! Delicious - made by Dario (thank you!). He was very helpful in suggesting restaurants and the tourist sites. Unfortunately there is road construction which made navigating through Agrigento very challenging.

Great getaway on olive farmPosted Jul 25, 2013
Darius is a generous, attentive and informative host. He gave us directions, restaurant suggestions and a tour of his farm. We were interested in his family history which he was happy to share. We heartily recommend this place and would gladly return.

Don't be put off by first impression - great stayPosted Jun 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
Dario offers great hospitality in his family home. At first sight Villa Diana looks a bit off putting (a sort of modern alpine style lodge in a rural Sicilian setting) and a little bit scruffy. However once inside it is a different story, once you get past the concept of antique furniture in a modern building, you find it very comfortable and everything of the top class (no cheap linens here) very clean and everything worked. The breakfast was the best - plenty of choice of fruit, juices, breads, cakes, presereves and eggs cooked to order by Dario, who is the perfect host and very helpful in giving directions and recommendations in perfect English. Strongly recommended!

Excellent base to explore AgrigentoPosted Apr 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
We really enjoyed our 3 nights at Villa Diana. It is a lovely place with great hospitality. It is an ideal location to explore Agrigento and the valley of temples. It is right off SS122, about 5-6km or 10 drive. The surrounding is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and full of light. What sets villa Diana apart is the warm hospitality of the owner. Before we arrived, he came to pick us up when we were lost and could not find our way to the hotel. He was extremely helpful with booking restaurants and proving detailed driving instructions for us to get around the area. The room is small, but has a comfy bed with clean bathroom. Plenty of hot water and good pressure rain shower and working hair dryer. Working Wifi in room. Excellent breakfast served in a lovely room full of refreshing morning light with an excellent choice of organic jams, freshly baked pastries, gonoras, fruits, nuts, yogurts and much more. It was the best breakfast we had in Sicily. Strongly recommended for Independent travelers

Most gracious hostPosted Apr 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
The owner was extremely helpful and kind in every way, including picking us up on the other side of a nearby town when we got lost. Breakfasts were amazing--all organic and delicious local and homemade foods with great variety. He made reservations for us at our request and recommended events which we could not have known about, specific to the Easter holiday. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Heavenly VillaPosted Apr 2, 2013
Although we had trouble finding the Villa in the dark, that was the only difficulty with our stay there. The room (the blue one) was AMAZING--every detail was perfectly lovely. Lots of room, lots of special touches, and a huge luxurious bathroom. Breakfast was delicious with a wide assortment of local specialties. The host was vey kind, knowledgable and had very good English. The setting, on a country road between Agrigento and Favara was beautiful and picturesque. My daughter was especially fond of the animals on the grounds--dogs, sheep, goats, and donkeys. All three of us agreed it was our favourite place we stayed during our trip to Sicily and that we wish we'd stayed longer.

Excellent B & BPosted Nov 10, 2012
Pros: Excellent modern bathroom, nice breakfast, big balcony with superb view, helpful host.
Cons: Nothing, really
Location: First-rate situation near the Valley of the Temples with superb views
Villa Diana is a perfect combination of Baroque charm and modern facilities. The view from the rooms at the rear is superb, with Favara on the hill to the left, Agrigento on the hill to the right, and the owner's olive grove below. The photograph on the website simply does not do it justice. The owner, Dario, could not have been more helpful, with excellent recommendations for places to eat in Favara and Agrigento, and with sightseeing advice. Attention is paid to every detail of your stay.

Exceptional and Luxurious Bed & BreakfastPosted Jul 23, 2012
Pros: Room and breakfast standard, and very friendly host
Cons: Agrigento roads are a bit difficult to navigate at the moment due to massive roadworks
This is a truly exceptional bed and breakfast run by a family who bend over backwards to ensure that their guests enjoy their stay. Villa Diana will live up to all your expectations and is great value.

A unique and perfect placePosted Jul 11, 2012 on Hotels.com
The villa Diana is elegant and charming. Located in the countryside near agrigento ( car probably essential) it is a delight. The immaculate and well-appointed room and bathroom...both large, comfortable and beautifully cared for and decorated offered every convenience...water bottle,, storage space, fine towels and linens, extra pillows, clothes drying rack,ac ,easy parking, and amazing views from both the bedroom and bath. A huge terrace with comfortable basket chairs allow one to especially enjoy the view.Breakfast served in a stunning room offers breads, cheese meats etc plus eggs cooked to order and home-made cannoli!!! Not to be missed.the innkeeper is Dario...a kind and gentle man whose pride in the Villa shines. When we expressed an interest in his olive trees he told us many fascinating details about olives...then prepared toasted bread brushed with his own oil! When we expressed interest in his animals ( goats, sheep, donkeys) we were treated to a tour of the farm. He has at his fingertips suggestions for restaurants, tour tips etc.we were sorry that we only stayed one night. A very special place hosted by a special innkeeper.
