“Basically An Army Barracks Full Of Screaming Kids”

This was an awful hotel for adult travelers. It's basically set-up for families with young children on a very low budget. It appeared that mostly local folks spend the summer there with thier families. The hotel is very dated. The hallways leading to the rooms are blue/green linoleum with stark white paint on the walls. The room that we had looked like a college dormitory or an army barracks. The bed was hard as a rock and basically right on the floor. There were no drawers, just larve shelves. The television was manufactured in the early 1980s and received poor reception. There were no glasses or cups in the room. The pillows were so old that they were useless. We asked for additional pillows twice before we had them brought to the room. The balcony was ridiculous. There was open air with a small railing between the balconies without any balcony furniture. It didn't matter that there was no furniture because there was no privacy at all. Little kids kept running underneath the railings on the balconies and screaming. They had a very noisy line dancing jamboree by the pool each afternoon-forget resting. Kids were screaming, running, jumping at all hours of the day. There is a dining hall buffet dining where they sit you with complete strangers. Did it once, and not cheap. Skip this place and you'd do better in a bed and breakfast in Sciacca.The beach is decent for Sicily. The pools were so loaded with kids (some in diapers) that there is no way I'd go in there.
