Nice spa hotel in a little village.Posted May 15, 2014
The hotel has been very nicely done and the room I was given was a beautiful corner room. The views from the hotel are limited to the houses in the village and the mountainside surrounding it. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The affordable breakfast is sumptuous - the omelette was exactly what I wanted ! You need a car to fully utilize this hotel - however parking can be a problem if it gets busy. If you are arriving with heavy luggage, it can be a problem navigating from the parking lot to the rooms upstairs - the elevator is narrow. The spa looked inviting but I did not have time to enjoy it. Koblenz is a 15 drive though there are plenty of walking places nearby along the Mosel River. It was a great choice for an overnight stay while driving through but deserves a longer stay to experience the area.

Nice village hotel.Posted Sep 25, 2013
Pros: Staff friendly and helpful.
Location: Wine country drives, river cruises, visits to historical points of interest.
Pleasantly surprised. Great hotel tucked away in a quaint village neighborhood setting. Walking distance to village central. Attentive staff. Great menu. Easy drive to a variety of sightseeing attractions.

Would go back 100%Posted Aug 13, 2012 on Hotels.com
A great hotel. Service was great all round from reception to bar staff. Room was large and comfortable. I ate at the hotel and the food was very nice. When I checked out I even got a little goodie bag to take away. For the price of this hotel and the above I would go back if I were in the area again. The hotel would make a great romantic get-away.

The room was extremely small. Could barely turn around. It was a hot day and there was no A/C

For an experience outside the cityPosted Sep 29, 2010
The hotel is outside the main city of Koblenz, but has a fine restaurant which was very popular. Whether the hotel was full or only the restaurant, finding a parking place was difficult. The neighborhood is beautiful with well-kept homes and vineyards surrounding the hotel, but neighborhood dogs were let out early and allowed to bark--the only real down side.

I will stay there againPosted Jul 16, 2009 on Hotels.com
The hotel was clean and for the most part confortable (beds too hard, pillows too soft). Staff were very frendly and efficient, food excellent.
