Great location, best end of town.Posted Jun 5, 2014
Pros: Free wifi, great location.
Cons: Can't think of anything!
Location: The Whitsundays and the Great Barrier Reef. Take a small group boat trip and stay overnight at the Outer reef. Take bug repellant for the Islands.
We had 2 stays here, before and after our boat trip and they stored our luggage for us. This is a very nice hotel and there is a great choice of restaurants near by. This seems to be the more up market end of the town as regards places to eat and there is a lagoon for swimming in just close by and the hotel has its own swimming pool. You cannot swim in the sea with out a stinger suit, there are very nasty jelly fish causing serious injuries if stung so don't. We were upgraded on our first stay and wifi is free and available in your room. Very comfortable room with tea, coffee etc and a good size fridge. We were sea view with a balcony. Good staff, great place.

Lovely hotel overlooking the beachPosted Mar 14, 2014
Pros: The hotel has a relaxed atmosphere and had a comfortable ambience i especially liked the verandah which was overlooking the beach.
Location: The hotel is in the centre of town in a prime location, close to all amenities and tourist facilities that any individual would like to undertake.
I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel mainly because of its locality, this certainly enabled us to explore as much as we could in short period of time. The hotel staff were pleasant and obliging and extremely helpful in aiding assistance where needed.

This hotel is a "MUST STAY!"Posted Sep 19, 2013 on Hotels.com
5 reasons to stay at this hotel. 1. Fantastic staff: fun, cheerful, constantly helpful, organized, smart. I felt pampered by them 2. Incredibly wonderful room: immaculately clean, comfortable, perfect temperature, sound proof, great bathroom with wonderful shower, balcony overlooking jungle trees with many singing birds and sounds of ocean waves; 3. convenient location to shopping and next to promenade along the beach 4. excellent restaurants and cafes just steps away 5. Did I mention the excellent staff? The pool was still unfinished, but I didn't care because I had a wonderful long morning swim in the wonderful Lagoon nearby. I didn't notice any construction noise that was mentioned by others, but there was obviously some construction going on. I think the bus stop around the corner is going to be closed so find out so that you don't have to lug your bags a long way, but I did see a lot of airport limos, vans and taxis stopping in front of the hotel office. I am a seasoned traveler (50 years of travel) and this was one of my best stays in any hotel around the world. I will most definitely stay at the Arlie Beach Hotel again!

Airlie Beach Hotel - Perfect Place to Stay!Posted Dec 12, 2011 on Hotels.com
Brilliant all round hotel. The service was fantastic. The room and balcony were well presented and offered lovely views over the beach. The hotel has three lovely contrasting restaurants attached to it, and is right in the heart of Airlie Beach. Would love to stay again.

Friendly staff and convenient locationPosted Jun 14, 2010 on Hotels.com
We had a wonderful 2 night stay at the Airlie Beach hotel. Belinda at guest services went out of her way to help us on numerous occasions - even going as far as to try and complete a web check in for our Virgin Blue flight while they were upgrading their system, and showed enormous care and concern when my mother fell out on the street. The room was new and beautifully maintained with a great view of the bay. Walking distance to shops, markets, esplanade. Great restaurants just downstairs. Not much of a pool area, but the great location means the Airlie lagoon is basically just across the road. We were attending a wedding at the gazebo at the Whitsunday Sailing Club and could walk just across the road to the ceremony.
