Very nice hotel. I did not give 5 stars because the double bed was 2 singles beds push together and this is annoying Also no shower curtain in the tub. Basically you watering the floor !

In the center of town. Close to dining, sites, parking etc. Secure parking garage within walking distance. Very safe location. The hotel room was very clean. AC works, but cool to a certain internal setting. Breakfast not included with cost. Need to inform them that you don’t want breakfast or you get charged.

Conveniently located. On the minus side, dated decor and the pictures on the Web gave the impression of staying in a church. However, this is limited to one wall. The room itself was small and the decor dated. In principle it was nice to have a terrace. However, the many pigeons made it unusable (there was a hose and a squeegee, but we were not to clean the terrace ourselves).

Terrific location and staff could not be friendlier or more helpful! Chloe in particular was a shining light - fabulous restaurant suggestions (and we are challenging), arranged a private vineyard tour with little notice, smile never left her face. Roman was also wonderful. All is all the best of the 4 hotels our France tour has had us at. Room worked and bathroom was lovely. Thank you!

They have retained the historic features of the original convent and combined them with modern charm and warmth. The staff was exceptionally hospitable and helpful. It is located in the heart of the old section of Aix and near to almost everything.

We LOVED our stay here the property is beautiful and the perfect location to walk all over Aix. Right off the Cours Mirabeau but in the most beautiful, picturesque small street of Aix. The staff was lovely and the room was comfy and cute.

Rida checked us in and was so warm and welcoming. He gave us recommendations for dining and was always asked how we were enjoying Aix, and if there was anything we needed. The hotel is on a quiet lane perfectly located for quick access to food, transportation, markets, etc. Beautiful, cozy lobby makes you feel like you’re staying in an old convent. Will come again!

Great location. Quirky shower tub without shower curtain. Sit down shower. Was charged extra for breakfast which I thought was included. Breakfast was adequate. If returning would breakfast at a nearby restaurant.

This is the best location when in Aix. The hotel is fantastic, a work of art. People stop by to take pictures inside the main lobby. The rooms are very clean, nice with good wifi access. They also can do your laundry if needed for around 20 euros. We would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful lobby and great front desk staff. We arrived early so our rooms were not ready. When we came back after lunch our rooms were ready and our luggage had been delivered to our room. Insuperable location. Rooms are small. Under areas of improvement, our air conditioning unit did not work well so our room was hot. We informed the front desk and they sent someone to check it but It didn’t change anything. Also, our shower had no glass or panel to prevent water from Splashing all over the bathroom including the sink and counter.

Great location, lovely staff. Bed was comfortable and room was a decent size but the bathroom needs to be updated. The shower wasn't great with no curtain or door, so water goes absolutely everywhere.

Small but comfortable attic room with compact but well designed bathroom and a smallish but perfectly comfortable bed. It’s in a beautiful old building and the staff are extremely nice.

This is a beautiful hotel with excellent staff! The first room we had was sub par..many things did not work, it was dark and small. We did, however book late , but this did not feel like a superior room. Our last night, they happily moved us to an upgraded room. Again, the staff were wonderful and helpful!

Great Location. Lift only goes to second floor, so if you have heavy luggage, make sure your room is no more than second floor

A beautiful piece of history
Our stay at Hôtel des Augustins was perfect in every way. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. This is such a beautiful historic property. We feel fortunate to have found this hotel for our stay in Aix-en-Provence. In addition to our beautiful accommodations the hotel placed us within easy walking distance to the sights and experiences we had hope for in Aix. We were close to many amazing cafés (staff helped with recommendations), close to historic sights, close to lots of shopping -there’s something for everyone - and close-enough to the train station to help us get to our next destination. I believe we had what the hotel calls a classic room which was comfortable, clean, and functional. That’s all we needed.

This location was right in the middle of everything! We loved being so close we didn’t have to use a car. The bed was comfortable and the bathtub was wonderful to soak in. If you enjoy being close to breakfast, coffee, pastries, shopping, dinner, late night dining and markets, this is the place for you. Did I mention this used to be a convent? Extremely interesting history.

Hotel is in a great location, and full of unique character. Staff are super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, though you have to pay separately. Only criticism was there was no shower curtain/screen in the bathroom, which made a bit of mess.
