Pleasant hotel close to centre villePosted Feb 14, 2014
Very adequate, clean and comfortable. Staff was especially helpful with recommendations, and assistance with my (mostly nonexistent) language skills. Very friendly.

Pros: Convenient for the tow, free wifi.
Cons: The air conditioning didn't work, the room was very hot at night, too noisy to leave the windows open .
This hotel is convenient for the markets and restaurants in Aix. The reception staff are very helpful and the housekeeping staff cheerful. However, the location makes it very noisy particularly At night. There is no bar or restaurant to socialise in except for breakfast which is charged for in addition to the room charge.

Great place to explore AixPosted Oct 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
It's not a fancy hotel, but it's a good location, walking to lots of restaurants and cafe's. The staff is super friendly, rooms very clean, nice rooftop deck area. We were doing a bike trip and the hotel was very accommodating to us to store our bags while on our trip. I highly recommend this hotel, it's a really good value.

Aix is a town for smallcars.Posted Oct 14, 2013
Pros: Central Location
Cons: No parking and garage will only take small cars.
Location: Visit town of Aix. Not a base for further exploration.
The hotels location is good for seeing the centre of Aix. The hotel is squeezed on a small site and cosy!

Unexpected Gem in Aix-en-ProvencePosted Oct 9, 2013
Pros: Modern & clean room, buffet breakfast and excellent service from the staff.
Location: Location is perfect. Close to everything.
We found Hotel du Globe on trivago.com and we were pleasantly surprised at the overall service we got from this hotel - from the modern, clean room to the super friendly staff. Not to mention the excellent buffet breakfast they serve - absolutely worth the 8 euro we paid per person! I wouldn't hesitate recommending this hotel to friends and family.

Great hotel near everything.Posted Oct 8, 2013
Pros: Location, size, staff
Cons: Breakfast included, maybe
Location: Aix en provence has lots to see and do. To much to describe here.
We needed a nice and easy hotel for our first two nights in Provence and the Globe did the trick. Central and close to a lot of restaurants and other attractions. Easy to get to from the airport in Marseilles and there was limited parking at the hotel which we were lucky to get, 10€ a day. Breakfast is extra, 8€ and is very basic. Similar to what North American quick stay hotels offer for free, but fresh and of better quality. On the street you could find "Petit dejuner" for less but also less selection.

Fantastic ServicePosted Sep 19, 2013 on Hotels.com
Good hotel, centrally located. Thought that the room was very small for the price and the shower was absolutely tiny. The lady on reception was one of the most helpful people I have met, she was lovely, spoke very good English and helped with my question about where to park my car while in Aix. Probably would not stay again due to the size of the bathroom, bed was also very small.

This hotel was very good. I love how there is a small balcony outside your room. And there's also a rooftop terrace which gives u a good view of the city centre.
