Large bedroom, very poor en-suite bathroom
I had a pleasant four-day stay in Aix. The large bedroom and kitchen facilities were fine but the en-suite bathroom was the worst I have experienced. The w.c. was so close to the door that it was impossible to close the door while sitting on the w.c. The large water heater was above the w.c. and dangerously low so that I frequently banged my head on it. The shower was squeezed into the corner and the shower curtain was fitted so that it was impossible to have a shower and prevent water falling on the floor.

Tiny Home Away from Home, You Make Bed/Coffee etc.
Rather beat up & not especially clean mini studio in an excellent location, steps away from bus station, train station, the Rotonde, & sidewalk restaurants. Pros: good water pressure, hot water, dual elevators, clean linens, plenty of outlets, good WiFi. Cons: dirty kitchen, some desk staff unfriendly, dusty, funky microwave, some street noise.

Like the quiet and convenient location to restaurants and tourist areas. Room is clean. Shower is strong and hot. Air conditioning is strong. Kitchenette is handy but have to cleanup before leaving. Also have to dump our own trash at the end of the stay. No thrill budget apartment hotel is acceptable for the price. No hairdryer in room, have to ask at reception. Have to pay for extra towels. Bathroom is very small.

A Disappointing stay
The room is small and the bathroom is even smaller. Everything is aging badly; room cleanliness is terrible. We stayed for 6 nights and are provided 2 bath towels, 2 small towels with no cleaning in between. Had to request 1 full cleaning for 36 Euros extra; surprisingly when we return to the room after a long day trip the room had a strong urine smell. The receptionist promised a redo in the next morning for the bathroom but it never happened. Did not even say sorry, we have met 3 different staffs for the 6 nights there, the gentleman was ok, but the two ladies seemed do not know how to smile!!!

Loved the kitchenette and the size of the room. The location is very handy to the bus station and not too far from the old town. I would certainly stay here again. The only drawback is the size of the bathroom and where the shower is situated - it is very "cosy".

Great location
Convenient location in Aix-en-Provence with a supermarket close by. 5 minute walk to the tourism centre and the town. We went during summer and the aircon was fantastic. The small kitchenette made it easy to prepare light meals. Room is a tad small and so is the shower. But for the price and convenience, it was not a problem. We would recommend!

This is our second stay. Both times I found the property very clean. The location is superb. While not “fancy” everything is comfortable. We love the kitchenette and being able to make coffee in the room as well as store snacks in the refrigerator. There are even a stove top.

Good value for money in heart of Aix
Good stay for the price in a very central and lively area of Aix. Updated rooms, but washroom was small and it had a hot water heater in it that was right above the toilet. I was a slow learner and hit my head on the hot water heater a few times before adjusting to the inconvenient placement. Besides the small detail about the hot water heater it was an excellent stay and the room was clean an de comfortable. Would stay here again but would ask for a room without a hot water heater in the the washroom (available as our travel partners did not have one).

Great stay and for a good price
We arrived on Sunday and nobody was on site. I found out later that an email was sent to me with instructions on Saturday but I missed it. In the end getting in the hotel turned out right. The only problem was that for the first night we had to pay extra for parking because we were not able to get into the hotel parking lot on Sunday. We specially mentioned we need parking when we made the reservation. Other than that, it was a great stay and I would book it again if coming back for another vacation. Very close to city center, clean, quiet and friendly staff. Keep up the good work!

Better than expected
The apartment was in proper condition. Easy to reach from both railway and bus (TGV) stations. There are a couple of food stores in the area if you want to prepare e.g. your own breakfast. The old town is a couple of blocks away, but easy to reach on foot for the normally fit person. The lighting in the apartment could have been better. There were two high chairs and oddly only one low chair in the room. Wifi worked well.

Clean, comfortable apartment in central location
Apartment was clean and nicely decorated. Comfortable bed, functional kitchenette and small bathroom. Kitchen has most utensils and crockery required for cooking a meal. The location was fantastic. Just a five min walk from the coach drop off from the Marselille airport. We had a refrigerator, a cute balcony, and a short stroll to the beautiful downtown old town area of Aix.

These are self-service apartments which provide a nicely equipped kichenette and a good location, very close to the old part of Aix. On the downside, bathroom is tiny, and staff provided minimal service.

Nice apartment in the heart of the city
The accommodation was clean and well maintained with simple kitchen for doing a bit of self catering. It was a 2 minute walk to the Mirabeau and felt very safe even late at night. The only down side is you have to pay to park. There is a multi story across the road though (me hours) that is €7 over night or €20 for 24hr

Great value. It’s a quirky place: do your own dishes; take out your own trash. Breakfast is available but not included, and it’s probably not worth the 8 euros. Location is close to the bus station, which is very convenient.

Convenient, clean, great and comfy
We had a great stay. So wonderful to have a small kitchen (which was waaay better than we could expect) and balcony. Area is great, so close to the bus station and a nice walk from shopping etc. The room was super fresh, bathroom tiny (!!) but clean and functional for one person at the time. Really comfy bed! Kitchen had everything you need, silver wear, cutlery, glasses, a pot and frying pan, sink and micro, small fridge, etc etc. The door is locked when the reception is closed, but they send you a code for the door. We picked up our key in a small “safe” on arrival. Super easy and convenient. We are beyond happy with our stay.

Nice hotel, tiniest bathroom ever
This is a nice hotel in a good location. However, the bathroom is tiny. The shower is so small that you will be touching walls and the shower curtain while showering. And hopefully you won't drop the soap! Also, there isn't a niche or holder for your shampoo or soap, so you will have to crouch down to pick those up, and touch the tiled walls and curtain while doing so. The tile also had mildew, so you will be touching that as well. The hotel mostly caters to students and has a dorm-like feel. The room itself was nice, kitchenette had all that you may need for making small meals.

Great Room and Location
Excellent value for money and location to the town centre brilliant. You are literally a walk of 400meters and in town centre although the hotel is in a quiet area. Limited parking spaces and breakfast not a huge choice. However still great value for money and kitchen and fridge in room means able to use shops and prepare own food. certainly would return.

It was ideal. The location is really central and we got a really good deal. My only criticism is the lack of parking if you have a car. You can park nearby but it's €10 a night which soon adds up.

Mature couple 3-day stay in this newly renovated residence in a studio. Staff on checkin were lovely and gave us exactly what we had requested. The studio was spacious, very well equipped and had a very comfortable bed plus a small balcony overlooking a calm courtyard. Location can't be bettered as you are a couple of minutes walk to a modern pedestrian shopping area with 2 supermarkets and 5 minutes walk from the Cours Mirabeau and the beautiful old streets of Aix. Would happily recommend.

Convenient and pleasant stay
The room was clean and convenient. It was nice to be able to buy local groceries and cook up some delicious breakfasts and lunches. The location was very good too and the centre-ville was easily accessible on foot. There was no cleaning service for an 8 night stay which wasn't so great, but other than that, I would recommend this hotel for anyone who want to enjoy a relaxing time in aix.

The hotel is an apartment-style hotel, meaning there is no maid service unless one stays more than a week. But it is a very nice hotel, clean and comfortable. It is close to a shopping area and the Tourist Office.
