"Nice hotel close to train station"
Simple yet very clean hotel. Rooms are cleaned very thoroughly and staff are always attentive to guests passing by, greeting them and always eager to be of assistance. Hotel location is of comfortable distance to the Yotsuya station.

"Great hotel, great price, great location"
I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights as a solo traveler. Given the price I paid my expectations were really low. Well this was great by all means! Room was definitely on the smaller side, but has everything one needs and is actually pretty cozy. It is a perfect base to sleep and go explore, it is not intended to chill and spend the day there in my opinion. If you are on a budget and don't need crazy fancy or huge room, by all means go for it. I would book this again in a blink.

I liked everything about this hotel except one dish at the restaurant, tuna with wasabi, was too spicy. Hotel staff were extremely nice. Highly recommended.

"Nice hotel, great views, close to public transit"
We stayed for 10 nights and it was our base for exploring Tokyo and the surrounding areas. We had a room on the 14th floor (out of 17) so the view was incredible, although we were facing the city more than the imperial garden. The rooms don't start until floor 7- it is banquet halls and other things below that - so I'm sure most rooms on lower floors would have a good view too. The room was definitely on the small side, but we were perfectly comfortable. At home we sleep in a full sized bed, and I would say the bed in our room was a little smaller than that, so if you are used to a queen or king you might feel a bit cramped. Also, the mattress felt strangely hard and springy at first, and I thought it would be difficult to sleep on since I prefer a softer mattress, but it actually was quite comfortable, especially after getting used to it for the first couple nights - maybe this is just the kind of mattress they have in Japan? The location could be more central to the downtown areas, but it is only 2 blocks from Hanzomon station and perhaps a 10 minute walk to another station (Nagatocho, I think). There were plenty of places to eat within walking distance of the hotel, too (we really liked a nearby noodle shop called Ibuki). The staff was very friendly and helpful, though their English was somewhat limited. We enjoyed our stay - no complaints!

"Cozy stay near Shinjuku"
This was a great experience. My room was not in the hotel proper but a little down the road. Everything I needed was catered for. Service was friendly, english spoken so no language problems and a great breakfast included in the reasonable price. Read about it in my blog baldmanblog.wordpress.com

"Well equipped Tokyo Apartment"
The apartment was well located in Akasaka and well-equipped for a short to mid term stay. Checkin was handled via an email notification of an access PIN to enter the apartment which all worked perfectly. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and able to handle the rigours of two adults and two kids for three nights.

"Convenience"
Asia Hotel is very conveniently located. It is walking distance to Nogisaka subway and Aoyama Itchome Subway. Hop to either one, and going to Tokyo station is a cinch. Clean and safe feeling district. Staff are friendly. Just wish their wifi work in the guest rooms too. Right now their wifi is accessible only when you are in the lobby. Breakfast is good. Wish they serve fresh fruits.

"Better than expected stay"
Attentive staffs. No major issues found. Arrived very late at night but the front desk quickly check me in. Very tired at that time but recall have to manually write name, addresses, email etc. by hand. Happy to see my no-smoking room smoke free. The room is equipped with small refrigerator, gas stove and microwave. Some pots and pans, plates, utensils are available. The toilet is fitted with Toto washlet which works well. The labels are all in Japanese but you can guess the function by looking at the pictogram. I don't think they have water shortage as both shower and toilet are not water saver models. I don't see bath vent inside the shower stall. I just leave the bathroom door ajar to vent the moisture. They clean the room twice during my 6 days stay. They clearly indicated this fact with a note and I know about this ahead of time by reading other people's comment. I have no problems with this but if you want clean new bath towels every day might have objections.

Pocket Guide: Tokyo Akasaka Independent Hotels

Posh hotels and a good selection of mid-range restaurants can be found in this area bordering Ginza’s northwest side. Sights in themselves, hotels include the New Otani complex, featuring a garden that was once owned by a Tokugawa regent, and ANA Hotel Tokyo, which has skyline views rivaling those of Tokyo Tower.
