"The Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo"
My job requires that I travel and I enjoy it! Top notch hotel with great amenities and views - like all other reviews state. PROS Top floors of Tokyo's tallest building. I wasn't facing Tokyo tower nor Mt Fuji but had great city views Large rooms with very large bathrooms. Toto bidet, multiple sinks, separate shower.

"Elegant hotel with easy access to Metro"
The hotel has large rooms, especially for Tokyo and is immaculately clean. The subway access is in the basement of the hotel so it is very convenient, though the station is very large so you may still need to walk 10 minutes to get to the farthest line served there.

"Excellent hotel, 100m from metro"
From check-in to check-out the hotel staff was wonderful. The hotel is 100m from Akasaka metro, and many restaurants and supermarkets. Highly reccomended. The room I had was very small for us as we had 2 large samsonite suitcases but this is standard across Japan that space is very limited.

"Very impressed with this hotel."
We have been travelling for 9 months, and this was one of the most impressive hotels we've stayed in. It's has quite small rooms, which is typical of Tokyo, but this is mitigated by the excellent design, quality, cleanliness, and good working order of everything. Staff are friendly and helpful. We found it difficult to book rooms in Tokyo, so prices were on the high side. But this hotel, was relatively well priced, is in an excellent location for visiting all of Tokyo, and is within a 4 minute walk of the Akasaka underground station. It is rather difficult to find if you don't have a detailed map: we took a taxi from Nareda airport on arrival, and were thankful we did. Once there, there was no difficulty finding it again. We'd also strongly recommend a sushi bar on the 2nd floor of the Akasaka station building - on the Tokyo Broadcasting Service (TBS) side.

Pocket Guide: Akasaka, Tokyo Spa Hotels

Posh hotels and a good selection of mid-range restaurants can be found in this area bordering Ginza’s northwest side. Sights in themselves, hotels include the New Otani complex, featuring a garden that was once owned by a Tokugawa regent, and ANA Hotel Tokyo, which has skyline views rivaling those of Tokyo Tower.
