This is all you need to know about my stay - I prepaid 3 nights through Expedia and checked out after my first night and went somewhere else, losing out on the last 2 nights and was happy to leave. It all started with the over 1 hour waiting time to check in, which was understandable since it was only 1 pm. The bad part is no one checked on us despite there being tons of employees around - no updates or even checking to see how we were doing. When I went to check on our room they had completely forgotten about us ( along with 2 other guests who were in the same situation as I ). The front desk agent was clearly rattled as she just gave me keys to the room and hustled me off to one of the concierge: no ID check, no confirmation or credit card verification, just handed me keys and that was it. For a place like Boracay that is unheard of but she was clearly overwhelmed. Now the room: I was "upgraded" to an Island suite which I'll describe as rustic. Old and outdated might be more accurate, not sure where the renovations were but it was clearly not in the Magnolia side of the resort . The lights were dim and made the bathroom look dingy and spooky, the tv was small and had scratchy audio...when it worked. Most of the time the channels had no service. The balcony looked decrepit. The rooms really need an upgrade. The resort itself is beautiful but navigating the shuttles is a chore which was never explained nor even a map given. Overall there are better options in the island.

The customer service is superb, the resto,pool,music and foamy party better than to be in a main boracay chaotic beach.the security and shuttle everywhere, feel very safe.. I hope when we come back their water feature below the stairs of Monterey bldg I hope they will put some koi fish like the hennan lagoon , it would be really an attraction to the guest 😊

The room is comfortable thanks for the upgrade! Foam party is funtastic. Maybe more electric shuttle in the future to reduce the waiting time when moving within the resort. Staff are very good especially Josh from Kudetah 5 star for him !

The hotel landscape , service & staff are great. Need utilize the spaces to have activities for children during the day. Also, the variety and quality of food need to be improved. In general the resort and price was reasonable. Late checkout is needed especially for a well rounded resort as fairways, late paid checkout is not necessary.

Stayed in this property for a week all by myself and it was great. I thoroughly enjoyed my entire stay. Best part was infinity pool and private beach and foam party. Staffs are nice as well. The only thing I didn’t like was as hotel is secluded there could have been more options for food.

My room is located in main lobby/Monterey. I enjoyed the nearness to resto, excellent ambience and the availabilty of transfortation provided by the hotel. Stafff are well trained always ready to lend a hand when needed.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay! The privacy and tranquility were definite highlights, allowing us to unwind and enjoy our time away without bumping into so much crowd compared to the main beach. All the staff are very polite and extra helpful! Having 6 pools (if I recall correctly) provided plenty of options for us. The foam party at Kudeta area added extra fun to our stay especially with the kids. Some disappointing factors that I would like to share for improvement. Firstly, the room was advertised as being able to accommodate four guests, we were surprised to find upon arrival that there was an additional charge for the excess persons beyond the initial two guests. I hope this can be explicitly advised when booking from a 3rd party channel. Breakfast selection was somewhat limited, and the quality could have been better. There were also multiple restaurants onsite but the menu is just the same. The Cathedral halo halo and Mais halo halo unfortunately lacked flavor. Lastly, the wait time for the shuttle service was longer than expected. Despite these setbacks, I still highly recommend staying at Fairways and would definitely come back

The best part about Fairways was the hotel staff. Everyone , specially the guards and the breakfast dining staff were super nice and accommodating. There was so much staff that your needs were cared for. The breakfast options had great variety. There was free transportation throughout the hotel (the grounds are huge). It was easy to get a tricycle down to Station 2. Also the mall was across the street so you can go eat Jollibee, go to the ATM or buy some things that you forgot to bring. The infinity pool and views were awesome. The private was not crowded. It was beautiful and the water was blue/green. I would stay here again just for the service and the staff.

This is a lovely, clean property with nice pools. It is huge and spread out so you need to take hotel shuttles (which are small buses) to go anywhere...restaurants/pools etc. You really should be aware that when it is described as ON A BEACH, it is NOT on a beach! You need to get into a hotel shuttle filled with other guests and drive for 10-15 minutes to get to it. I felt very deceived by this description. I expected the property to be ON the beach. You need to also be aware that this hotel is quite far from town/restaurants/stores/action. You will have to get on the hotel shuttle to the main gate then catch a tricycle to town (20 minutes). I found this incredibly inconvenient and felt isolated. The distance from everything forces you to mostly eat at the resort restaurants (menu is basically the same at all of them) and when I say the food is AWFUL at all of them. I am not exaggerating at all. Both the western and Filipino food opinions are terrible. Breakfast buffet is also very disappointing with not many options. Not even bacon! Maybe if you are a family, or big golfers or looking for a quiet, low-end Mexican resort holiday vibe and don't want to be a part of the lively options and atmosphere of Boracay then this would be a good option for you. I found it to be boring, in a terrible, inconvenient location and, once again, cannot stress enough how bad the food was! Oh, also prices are high for food/drinks. Recommend staying in town and actually be on the beach!

All the staff at the property were very kind and helpful. The property was very clean. Food was always delicious. The barista at the coffee shop was very talented. I especially like the little cats and dogs would randomly come around for treats. It was nice the staff didn’t try to run them away.

The location is pretty far from the beach, and the main areas. So have to take a shuttle to the gate from your room and then from the gate have to take a tryk to the beach, malls, restaurants etc. Other than that the place is nice and big.
