“Great place to sleep”

last stop on the way back to VA after a week away... room was clean... beds were great... pool and spa were top notch.. would stay there in a heartbeat...

“North Canton revisited”

This hotel was very close to a site chosen for a two day high school class reunion. It also proved to be fully adequate in all respects and the price was reasonable. The hotel is located (along with about four competing hotels) atop a large plateau which provides isolation from traffic and noise. Although there is no exercise room, there is a very nice inside pool. The free breakfast offers many items and it is very nice. I could also get hot water and tea bags (plus coffee if desired) from the breakfast area at other times.

Area recommendations

The hotel is close is the extensive Belden Village mall region which contains an incredible number of store clusters and stand alone stores plus a huge selection of restaurants. It is about five minutes from an interstate 77 exit.

Events and shows

I happen to be at the hotel during the Football Hall of Fame weekend (reserve well in advance). Among the things that could be seen were the balloon festival and fireworks.

“Nice hotel”

The hotel was clean and the staff was helpful. The complimentary breakfast was limited but offered enough variety to satisfy most tastes. The hotel was about five or ten minutes from VA Tech and the commute was hassle free. I would stay here again.

“No surprises”

This property met all my expectations for a Fairfield Inn ... and the staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome!

Getting there

This hotel is near several others - but it wasn't obvious to me (at night) where to turn. The street is marked with a sign (South side of road just a block East of expressway), but the street is long and narrow which takes you back to the hotel court so I wasn't sure if I was going the right way at first.

“great place”

this hotel is very reasonable on rates and is in great location and staff great and just a nice no frills place to stay. close to all places you want to go and see. I have stayed there 6 times now and keep going back as just great for the cost.

Area recommendations

got to see football hall of fame and be sure to get an ice cream from both places. taggerts on fulton road about 2 miles south of hall of fame and milk and honey on cleveland ave. about 3 miles from hotel.. both great places for ice cream..

Getting around

easy to get around as everything you need is right on bottom of the hill, just turn left at bottom and mall and plenty of places to eat are there
