“Great hotel”

Hotel was very clean and well kept. The only issues we ran into was that the pool heater was broken and the pool was freezing and the closest ice machine wasn't working. The other ice machine worked fine and the pool repair man, of course, wouldn't work on the weekend. They need a bigger sign so that it is easier to locate on your first time past.

“Great value, pleasant stay”

Our toilet wasn't functioning properly when we first arrived and within minutes of me calling the front desk, the person who checked us in was at my door with different room keys for us to switch. When we were at the pool the person working the front desk noticed us going in and he brought fresh towels into the pool area for us--very courteous. Spacious rooms, though a little dusty--probably for lack of use as we had the larger suite. Very comfortable beds with extra pillows. What a great price also. The breakfast bar was quite impressive for a "continental" bar. Cheese omlets (premade, but very good) sausage gravy and biscuits, cereal, fruit, toast and bagels. Hard boiled eggs, yogurt and anything you'd need to drink was available. We will go back again when we visit family in Medina for sure! Thank you for a pleasant stay!

“Very nice, affordable hotel”

Very friendly staff. Hotel conveniently located off highway in nice, rural area. Breakfast was adequate. Everything was clean and well cared for. We stay here every time we come to town.

“Good for the price”

The hotel was nice for the price and I would stay here again. The front desk was really nice and helpful. The room was updated with flat screen tv, comfortable bed, and clean. The only problem was the free breakfast. There was a very limited amount offered, but they had signs up for other things.

“Holiday Inn Express Medina was a pleasant stay, breakfast was OK, pool was cold”

Hotel room was clean, service was friendly, breakfast was excellent the first day - great variety (we were there for several days), then they were out of a variety of different items. For example, one day they didn't have the hot rolls, then the next day they didn't have the hot rolls, bacon, or fruit, etc. Seemed like they were out of something different each day we were there. We asked the person breakfast room staff person about it and she made it sound like there buyer made an error or something. She didn't seem to care. Also, I thought the indoor pool was a little cold.

“Good Medina Hotel”

Nice clean room, friendly staff, and the continental breakfast was good.

Our experience with this hotel was fine, the only thing I would say is that the items offered on the breakfast bar were very weak. It wasn't a busy weekend so maybe they just didn't put a lot out. It was adequate but nothing great. Otherwise, our rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable and clean (a huge plus for me).

“Our 3rd and Probably Last Visit”

I have stayed at this same hotel 3 times under different hotel names! We have always found the room comfortable and quiet, the breakfast filling and the location convenient. My daughter had a meeting to get to early, so we left and I was going to come back and check out. As I was leaving the room, I discovered that the door did not lock, unless you dead-bolted it from the inside. We didn't have time before I left to complain or point out the problem, so I took everything with me that was of value and left. Everything was still there when I came back, but it just was kind of a "creepy" feeling. Value for the money is decent & I can normally overlook small things (like an opened bag of Cheetoh's in the nightstand), but safety is not one of them.

“Getting shabby”

First, it is not Executive Inn and Suites. It has changed to Best Western. This hotel obviously was once very nice. It is being neglected and on the verge of becoming shabby. In fact, we have to go back next year and may look for another place.

“Just another hotel”

I stayed at this hotel because my first choice was already booked. Nothing set this property apart from any other, but one thing did bother me: they did not have their parking lot completely plowed. Winter is a fact of life in NE Ohio and to have the parking lot partially plowed was an inconvenience and unacceptable.
