We stayed at the hotel on our way to northern Michigan and we found it to be clean and comfortable and the staff was great. The location is excellent with lots of restaurants nearby. The pool needs a little work but we enjoyed it anyway.

Everything was great, very comfortable and convenient. Only thing I would recommend, is that they keep the cigarette butts cleaned up in outside table area.

Continental breakfast was very good, included eggs and sausages, unlike most places which often offer just bagels, toast, muffings.

“Wow Experience”

This is by far the nicest hotel I've ever stayed at. Granted, I don't travel that much, but I have visited a number of different hotels. The whole building is non-smoking which is a real plus to me. If you want to take your pet, you're out of luck because they are not allowed, unfortunately. But if you have severe pet allergies, that would be a plus! It is amazingly clean. There was virtually no noise from the rooms next door or even from the bathroom if the door was closed. I could sleep a little longer while my roommate showered. If I ever stay overnight in the area again, I'll definitely stay here.

“Nice Place”

The bathroom fan could wake the dead, and it comes on when you turn the bathroom light on in the middle of the night. The bathroom floor could use a good hard mopping. There were past guests sox behind the TV console. I think Housekeeping needs polishing. The front desk and breakfast personnel were very nice and made you feel very welcomed. The breakfast was adequate. The waffle iron could use some non stick spray. The waffles always would stick and you ended up with pieces of waffles. We didn't spend much time at the hotel. We were tending to an elderly parent. Over all I would recommend this hotel. It was rather clean and quiet.

“Good Choice”

My only complaint was that when I checked-in, they sent me to a room that had a deodorizing machine running and smelled awful. They moved me with no problem (to an upgraded room also). Would have been nice if they would have brought the new key to me so I didn't have to drag all of my luggage back to the lobby. The breakfast was quite good - and plenty of room (unlike some places where there are 100 people trying to eat in a room the size of a closet).
