"The food was really good, and even though reservations to restaurants seemed booked at the start, there were plenty of cancellations and we were able to get reservations at the times and restaurants of our choice almost every time. The a la carte option was always great, though, so you don’t even need to worry about reservations. The pool activities were super fun and we loved playing beach volleyball with other guests. Our favorites were The Good Bar, the health juice bar, the crepes at the main buffet, the spa, the dolphins, the snorkeling, and general safe and beautiful ambiance. We had a great stay and we’re sad to leave. Ricardo, one of the bellhops, hooked us up with a rental car so we could explore Akumal Beach, Playa del Carmen, and other spots on our own. So much to do at the resort though, so no real need to leave. Would definitely recommend with or without kids. "

"Classic old school beach front hotel. Amazing location, family run. Tony and his team offer lovely service. Warm family feel with the staff. Room service was great for all meals breakfast, lunch and dinner. Salsa picante a must with eggs.
Dont expect a brand new hotel...but its small and wonderful and perfectly vintage.

"The food was excellent and very diverse. We felt very comfortable and welcomed here. The rooms were spacious and clean. The stuff was always helpful and friendly.
The only negatives thing we experienced during our stay was diluted with water wine served to us in the snack bar. It ruins the reputation of this fantastic place.
Everything else was excellent "
