“Good Apartment, Bad Exterior”

The exterior of this hotel is dingy and it is located in a relatively bad neighborhood. But the inside was clean and comfortable and had the glamor and elegance of a by-gone era. You could tell it was a grand apartment in its day. Our apartment was clean and very large (we rented a regular 2-bedroom, not the executive one). The kitchen was well-appointed and clean and also large. THe pool is newly painted and well-maintained with a great view - they must have cleaned it up recently, given the prior reviews. The only complaint I have about the interior of the building was that our room was quite smoky at certain times of the day - probably due to the sheesha room within the hotel, or maybe the smokers in neighboring apartments.
