"It's hard to overstate how fantastic the location and views are. Between the master bedroom and living/dining area, with extensive glass doors, and the wraparound deck outside them, there's a roughly 270 degree view west to the E. Sierras (Mt. Whtiney) and SE to Owens Lake and the Inyo Mtns, elevated from a hill. Plus easy access up into the Sierra and even walkable to Alabama Hills. The house has a wonderfully funky artsiness to it, up-to-date and sometimes luxurious in its fixtures but also sometimes minimalist in the accessories. Joost was responsive and helpful with the minor things that came up."

"We would defiantly recommend staying here. The kitchen is the best equipped one for any VRBO we have stayed in. The location make for an easy walk to downtown, it was very clean with a comfortable bed and everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The only real complaint is the water heater is very hot, so you need to be careful to not burn yourself when using hot water. It would also be nice if the refrigerator door was rehung so it faced the kitchen when it was open."

"We stayed here last year after Christmas and loved it so much we decided to do it again this year. It was another amazing stay. It is a perfect fit for our two families of four (4 adults, and 4 teenagers). The house is in a great area that is quiet and about 10 minutes away from Lone Pine. The views are spectacular (especially for winter) and its a great jumping off spot for exploring the Owens Valley. The property is huge (5 acres!) and great for exploring, the teens rode bikes all over the property and neighborhood. Having the ping pong table is great (yearly ping pong tournament!) and cocktails and games in the living room,warmed by the wood stove. Beds are comfortable and the kitchen has everything you may need, even a separate ice maker on the counter! The host is quick to respond to communications and was very helpful when our son left his iPad there. She arranged the return with minimal fuss and cost.There really are no cons except maybe the stereo, which we could never figure out so we couldn't enjoy the massive CD collection, but honestly I chalk that up to user error (perhaps an instruction sheet for dummies like us) lol. Overall a fantastic place that we will definitely be using again."
