Useful Hotel

Posted Jan 2, 2015
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff Comfortable beds
Cons: Breakfast area could be expanded. Breakfast is stated as being until 10, but by 9 the food selections were depleted. Staff tried to refill.
Location: We visited relatives so we did not use nearby restaurants, but there were several.
This is a good, serviceable hotel in a good location.

Nice hotel

The staff were friendly especially especially the one in charge of continental breakfast. It's nice that there's coffee that's set up right in the lobby and its welcoming!

Location: White Sands, hiking in the Cloudcroft area. Walk across the parking lot to Chili's or Carino's.
Nice place, helpful and friendly staff. They loaned us saucers for our kids to use at White Sands. Breakfast was good and started plenty early.

Family Friendly Warm Welcoming Place to stay

Posted Nov 26, 2014
Pros: The pillow top mattresses and comforters, the nutragena shampoo and conditioner and lotion, the coffee in the lobby 24 hours a day, indoor pool.
Location: Alamagordo is near the oldest zoo in the southwest and White Sands National Monument where you can go sledding on the sand dunes.
We felt welcome and wanted starting with check in; this feeling continued as we dropped off our bags in our rooms which were spacious, clean, and inviting. Breakfast in the morning was surprisingly good. We felt truly blessed to have stayed at this Hampton Inn. The staff of this motel gets an a++++ for hospitality. We booked 3 rooms and they were more than happy to accommodate a family of 2 adults and 3 children in one room with 2 queen size beds. I mention this because many motels in the area will not allow this many people in one room.

We were there for a funeral so we weren't in the room long. The desk clerk when we got there was very friendly and helpful.

Overally, good

Posted Oct 22, 2014 on Hotels.com
Overall, the clean and neat hotel, but breakfast was a little bit unsatisfactory compared to the other Hamptons. The closeness of several restaurant was good to have dinner. At night, noisy air-conditioner was a problem to have a deep sleep.
