Okay hotel to just to sleep in.Posted Jul 6, 2014
Pros: The room was comfortable and the access to the computer in the lobby.
Cons: Inform people of breakfast time. Pool needed to be cleaned and the jacuzzi was broken.
Location: Nice mountain view. That's it.
Okay to sleep and shower and that's it. The pool was filthy and the jacuzzi was broken. Arrived late to the breakfast because was over at 9 and was not informed of this at check-in.

Quality Inn Alamogordo,New MexicoPosted May 30, 2014 on Hotels.com
I stayed at this motel recently with a buddy. As soon as I pulled into the parking lot, I noticed that it was exterior entry to the individual rooms instead of interior hallway.I was scared the entire stay because of this. However, it was not a big deal because we were two men traveling together.I had my doubts on whether it was that kind of entry before I booked the motel.I almost booked the Hampton Inn that I stayed in before.I had trouble sleeping because of the awkward and poor quality pillows. You could tell the motel was older. The pool was really cold too.I wish they would have used the heater. On the plus side, the room was cheap and met our needs. The front desk was real nice.I think this was the last time I will ever stay at a Quality Inn even though I love Choice Hotels.I will go with the Hampton Inn or something similar next time I am in Alamogordo. The Belgian Waffles were good.It was clean.

adequate budget stayPosted May 16, 2014 on Hotels.com
Nothing particularly wrong with the hotel, or especially nice. There is an outdoor pool, but it was closed during our visit. There is a complementary evening "happy hour" with bbq sandwiches, snacks and sodas. The breakfast buffet is typical. Despite being on a busy road and with truckers in the parking lot, we did not hear anything outside our room. A/C and plumbing worked fine. Staff was particularly friendly and helpful, especially the lady that put out breakfast and evening snacks. They found my phone charger that I left behind and kept it for a week until I returned for it. I would stay again on a road trip.
