“basic ... close to airport”

definitely a no frills hotel .... functional though ... good for a quick overnight stay for an early departure from the airport

“Albany”

Headboard fell off the wall, light between beds didn't work, toilet kept running. Certainly needs upgrading. Would stay again because of location but would not be so patient.

“A bit tired, but exceptionally clean”

A great location, and it only lacks an elevator for the 2nd floor. The rooms are big, and exceptionally clean. While the decor and paint is clearly dated, it's very clean and well maintained - that means a lot. The internet (wifi) was a bit spotty, but a quick call to the front desk resulted in a reset router -and a great internet experience thereafter. Recommended for a budget stay - but to the hotel - it's time for some modernizing. I felt like the hotel was something out of a 1970's horror flick (lots of dark browns and odd undulations in the walls of the room).

“"Incredible staff, fantastic room"”

From front desk, to the shuttle drivers and the morning breakfast lady, the staff far exceeded expectations. We had a very spacious room with luxurious bedding, large flatscreen TV, free wireless. Full hot breakfast. The room had been renovated, was very large, had a table to work at, and a refrigerator and microwave. The bed and bedding was like no other airport hotel I have seen--excellent. There are several airport hotels to choose from, but I followed the other reviewers and went with this one. The hallways are a little tired, but the staff and the room and big breakfast make it easy to overlook the hallway. Thanks to the staff--you are great.

“Run down”

Barely OK. For the most part clean, but everything is pretty run down. There is an "old" smell, plus some other not so pleasant smells all across the property. Needs major renovation.

“Best Hotel for the Price”

Clean room, located on main drag with numerous chain restaurants and a large shopping mall nearby. The pool was clean and the water was great. Also, the place is pet friendly, so our dog even received free treats and a free bag holder to attach to her leash. Add to that an extensive free, fresh breakfast. The Waldorf, it ain't, but serviceable, clean, and welcoming, with a friendly, helpful staff. Really, what more do you want for the money?

“VIctoria”

The hotel was conveniently located near restaurants, airport, and a mall. The hotel was clean, but old. It definitely needed updating, in the rugs and hallways. However the beds were very comfy, and the price was good.

“Remodel Needed!”

Love this hotel’s location and staff, but man does this hotel need a facelift. The décor is very late 70s/early 80s, and the walls separating the rooms are paper thin.

“Dated but good price”

An older hotel....but clean and in the lower price bracket as compared to the larger chains....close by the airport and shuttle service back and forth. Would be a good place to leave your car while flying off to Vegas for the weekend

“worst experience in Albany”

Do not stay at this hotel even if it is free. old, dirty, smelled gaz as soon as we went into the lobbu. next day we found a cockroach in the room
