It’s an older place but it reasonably priced and has a decent restaurant/bar and helpful staff. The included breakfast is quite good, far better than what you typically get.

No elevator, stairs difficult to take. This was a challenge for us and our small dog. Did not have room ready when we arrived, 30 minutes after we were assured it was ready by both email and when we checked in. Still had to wait to be put in another room, which was located thanks to staff member Colin-- he was the only staff member who acted with true hospitality. The refrigerator buzzed throughout the day and night. This was all very disappointing as we have stayed at the Century House in past years and looked forward to this stay.

This property had a very historic appeal but with beautiful modern touches! Rooms felt luxurious compared to standard cookie cutter hotels. Front desk staff was personable and friendly. And the free breakfast was delicious with lots of fresh options. Highly recommend!

This is the best hotel we stayed so far. Our room was nice and cozy.. the bed was comfortable and the washroom was clean.. all in all the property was clean and neat.. The staff in the reception was so helpful and welcoming.. He even helped us carry our luggage to our room. They have soup for the day for the guests to enjoy plus coffee and other cold drinks.. They have plenty of choices for breakfast that we enjoy the most.. The farmer’s egg was scrumptious and delicious. They even have egg muffin better than McDonald. Linda the server who was so friendly and nice checked us often, attentive to all the guests needs and even stop for a bit for a little chat.. We will definitely come back again next year God willing for another stay and bring more family members with us.. Thank you so much Century House Hotel.

Beautiful room, unique lamps and wall decorations. Beautiful buffet for breakfast, hot & cold varieties. Coffee in lobby all day and soup as well. Staff is very accommodating and friendly. Will be staying again!

Property was clean and quiet. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Desk appeared to be staffed at all times. Clean room. Nice breakfast with very helpful and pleasant staff. Furniture, carpet etc a bit scuffed up looking, lack of signage makes finding the hotel difficult--It looks more like a restaurant.

The stay was pleasant. Checkin was easy, staff was nice and respectful, and daily breakfast was delicious! The bathroom floor was not as clean as I would’ve liked, but other than that I was satisfied with the stay.

What a charming hotel. It has been updated and the rooms are a nice size neatly decorated. It has wood floors in the room which I feel are much cleaner. The bed in my room was comfortable.i would stay here again.

Everything was excellent, except . . . there was almost no hot water when I went to take a shower at 9am. I had to take a semi-cold shower. Maybe a whole bunch of people took a shower in the hotel before me and drained all the hot water out of the boiler. Maybe they need a bigger boiler.

Difficult to find hotel in the dark. Rather convoluted building with many entrances. Many stairs. I did not see an elevator, so difficult for anyone handicapped. Breakfast excellent-one of the best hotel breakfasts we have ever had. Rooms clean, beds very firm. Different but very nice. Excellent staff.

Overall a quaint quiet place to stay. Some nice amenities such as complimentary soup and hot towelletes in the afternoon, basic but useable gym and even a pool. (Can't say much about the pool since I've only stayed in the winter). The rooms themselves had a remodel some time ago and have a cozy rustic feel. Beds are sort of hard and my sleep was a little fitful but we'll just call that a personal problem. If I had to go over one gripe I've stayed twist now and for whatever reason the clothing closet structure seems to always be dusty (rest of the room is otherwise immaculate), definitely need to be whipping that down between stays. Other than that the staff is always friendly and it's usually pretty quiet at night as well (rooms seem to be reasonably sound proofed). I would stay again but the Dusty cabinets needs to stop being a reoccurring issue.

Overall a great property with on-site restaurant. Room was quiet, and bed was comfortable. My only critique was that the bathroom needed some attention with the paint peeling from ceiling and other general maintenance issues.

Century House - Can't Be Beat!
Our stay was an absolute delight. EVERYTHING about the stay was "above and beyond." The process was easy. The staff was helpful and friendly. The daily breakfast (included w/ room rate) was top notch and the chef came out to speak with guests. They had almond milk on hand and even prepared Gluten Free dishes. EVERYTHING about this hotel was great! We heartily recommend the Century House Hotel. We will be back. PS - The restaurant (not part of the hotel) has the best Prime Rib dinner I have ever had! Perfect.
