Reasonable rates just outside areas of NY

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Arrived late but staff still friendly and welcoming in spite of te hour. Rooms clean and spacious. A little inconvenient to go out of hotel across the way to get ice. Even though king rooms are non smoking, some people are still rude and smoke in the anyway. Hallway smelled of smoke.

Cheap hotel, but you get what you pay for.

The rooms were adieu strand the staff was friendly. However there was an abundance if undesirables in the parking lot. Lots of running around and slamming of doors, as well has some heated conversations overheard through the walls. I know a hotel is not directly responsible for their guests, but the undesirable element was out in full force when we stayed. But I guess when you go to he cheapest place that's what you can expect.

Bring your own Febreeze and light bulbs

Posted Mar 23, 2014
Plus: amenities normally found in more expensive motels: ironing board, iron, blow dryer, microwave, coffee, continental breakfast in the AM. Comfortable bed, clean sheets, full bathtub, working TV. Negatives: Safety--neither exterior door was locked. Deadbolt on room door did not work. Cleanliness--room smelled strongly like stale tobacco. By morning I didn't notice the stench any more, but upon arrival and while trying to fall asleep it was extremely unpleasant. No light bulb in bedside lamp.

a role of a dice

Posted Jan 30, 2014 on Hotels.com
The room was large and clean, nice to have coffee in the room, however, the walls are very thin and your sleep is in the hands of the other guests. A couple across the hallway started an argument at 2.15 am, and even after making up on 2 occasions, they didn't stop the noise until 7 am. Don't know if one left the room or they just fell asleep, but I don't get much sleep that night. So it's a role of a dice.

Thank you for taking time to let us know how we are doing. We appreciate your comments and will certainly pass this on to the correct departments. We apologize on behalf of the loud guests, and hope this won't discourage you from staying with us in the future. We are an older property and do not want our guests to suffer due to that. Again, thank you for the comments.

Good Value

Good rate. Small room, walls were a bit thin, but a comfortable bed and everything one needs in the room. The Inn is located close to I-87 and I-90. Quick check-in and check-out, no hassle. I would recommend it to anyone looking to save money and time.

Snow Stay

The Night clerk was rather rude and not helpful. Day clerk was the opposite. For the price, I would stay there again.

It worked for us

Posted Dec 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
We could hear them doing lanudry all night...the washer and dryer must have been next to our room - also, they came up as pet-friendly on hotel.com, but they have a no pets sign when you register...they let us stay there with our dog, but we could not leave the dog in the room when we were not there. But overall, it was good enough for what we needed.

The host was friendly and helpful. It was very convenient to the college I was visiting.
