Beware of the advertised beds in the room. Had to call expedia and the hotel to let them know I booked QUEEN Beds and got Double beds. Afte wanting to switch rooms for what I reserved. I was assured by the hotel manager that the double beds were I fact Queen. I was unable to cancel without being charged and had to squeeze my family in smaller beds. The headboards were Queen size and you could see the obviously smaller double beds...like No one would notice...

the building was in terrible repair..the first room we were assigned had plaster all over from the ceiling falling in...was disgusting!! Was given another room which was passable but still not worth the cost...I will NEVER stay in another days Inn.

Bare bones, useless staff

I didn't expect much based upon the price, however I was disappointed even so. The staff seed apologetic and embarrassed of their own facility, the building is tired and dirty, the breakfast was pathetic.

Pros: It was available the weekend we were in the Albany area.
Cons: Get breakfast up to standards.
Location: Close to Albany Airport
Breakfast is not what they advertised. All they offered was cold cereal, stale bagels and a limited supply of coffee. Only fresh fruit available were some old apples.

Location: Saratoga Race Track, & Casino, Saratoga Performing Arts. Pepsi Arena, Albany Convention Center,
room was dirty I cleaned it, door lock was broken, burnt out bulbs in lamps, no cable TV, desk chair broken. Out side landscaping disgusting each morning when I walked my pup, I pulled weeds. Continental breakfast was a joke. I wouldn't recommend a days inns to anyone especially this one no matter the cost. The condition of the place explains the cheap rate.

Incompetent, poorly trained staff

Pros: The hotel was one of the worst hotels we've EVER stayed in Upstate NY. We stay in approximately 2 dozens hotels in the Albany area on a yearly basis.
Cons: Staff, smoke free hotel, Customer Service, Staff, Customer Service, Staff, Customer Service, Shall I go on?
Location: Lots to do in the Albany, Latham area.
Received a smoking room which was horrid!! Upon check-in we were told that they had no more non-smoking rooms. When I called from the hotel room on my cell phone to see if they had any non-smoking rooms, we were told yes they did. Not only did they lie, when I contacted the main office and requested to talk to a hotel manager, the front desk actually hung up on us. The staff clearly needs training in customer service and management needs to train their front desk staff on how to change rooms (when they are of course available) to ensure quality customer service.

Location: near airport.
I booked 2 rooms. But they registered only one. I waited for about 20 minutes and then got another room which is far away from another one.

Arrived at hotel and the desk clerk told me there were no rooms available. When I told the front desk clerk I had a confirmed (paid) reservation and showed her my Expedia confirmation, she sighed and found me and my son a Smoking room (I'm pretty sure I paid extra for a non-smoking room). She also couldn't be bothered to tell me how to get to my room, but another hotel guest who was complaining about his room was nice enough to tell me where to go. When we got to the room there was a note in the bathroom, not to use the sink as it didn't work. When I called the main desk, I was told I could leave if I didn't want that room. Breakfast was a complete disaster as well. We don't expect much but we were there at 7:30 am and it was dirty and most items you wouldn't think of touching let alone eating.

Pros: It was close to the airport and has a shuttle service. The bed was comfortable and the room smelled good.
Cons: Give the correct reservation! Improve security by locking outside doors and fixing the cracked window.
Location: It's all about the proximity of the airport.
I reserved and paid for a non-smoking room with 2 queen beds, but when I got there there were none left even though I had called and said I would arrive very late. I was assured it would be fine. Was given a non-smoking room with 1 king bed. I was not happy at all about it but took it because it was late and we needed it. The girl at the desk though was very nice. Our room was clean and smelled good, thankfully. The bed was comfortable, but some of the pillows were tiny. There was no cream for the coffee, no stirrers, but at least there was coffee! In the morning I saw that the outside window was cracked and the screen was bent and torn. If I had seen that the night before I would have been very uncomfortable. Also, the outside access door nearest our room was unlocked when we arrived.
