“Is a great place to stay. The hotel staff work to please you.”

Hotel was wonderful. I enjoyed my stay and only issues was with airport shuttle. However hotel staff worked to accomodate and keep satisfied customer. I would definately go back to this hotel.

“Nice Hotel”

Nice hotel, excellent customer service (the cookies were a big plus!), the only very minor complaint would be the location, but the view was nice.

“We will stay again when in this area.”

We were in the area for an event at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute where our son will be attending school. We expect to stay here when we're in the area again, as it is close to the highway, but not in a congested or noisy area. The room was clean and even though we were near the hotel lobby on the 1st floor, it was quiet. The breakfast exceeded expectations, as it went well beyond the standard free hotel fare with a wide assortment of choices, including hot items such as eggs, bacon, etc. The hotel has a view of the Hudson valley and Albany, although it was overcast and too early in the Spring for leaves. Looking forward to seeing it in the autumn. The only down side is that there seem to be limited dining options nearby. A nice sports restaurant shares the parking lot with the hotel and there's a shopping plaza up the street. I didn't see any places to eat at the plaza, though I may have missed them. Next time I'll need to ask at the front desk for additional dining options.

“Mini Vacation”

My wife and I decided to take a mini fall vacation, we are from Florida, and visit relatives in the Albany area as well as to do some gallery visits, and "leaf peeping" in the Berkshires, and the Catskills. Our visit and stay at the Holiday Inn Express in East Greenbush was totally enjoyable as was the weather during our stay.

“Continental Breakfast”

The best quality and widest variety of any continental breakfast I have ever had.

“Great place for overnight stay”

This location was great for restaraunts, shopping, ect. Breakfast was great and plenty available.

“Glad to arrive”

We drove into a snow storm about one hour away from the hotel and we were really glad to see the hotel when it came into view. The staff was really nice and we enjoye the room. It was located just one mile from the bus Station that we needed to get to in the morning by 7 AM. Will use it again when I book another cruise and use Yankee Trails Bus Service in Renssealer, NY.

Nice sports grill next door with 10% discount. Easy access to Albany and Tri-City Valley Cats Single A baseball. Pool is OK, a little too small but fine. Really good, hot breakfast free In the morning. Would definitely stay here again!

“Your basic chain hotel”

Convenient to I-90 and other major highways. Beautiful view of the downtown Albany area from rooms on the west side of the hotel. There is one floor that is a smoking floor. If you are not used to smoke it may be offensive. Staff is terrific. The hotel is not that old but clearly sees alot of use. I have stayed there a couple of times and would again.

“Everything we expected”

Pretty much everything we expected. Only small nit to pick was the hot tub wasn't working when we visited - out of service for repair. Pool temperature slightly cool, but our kids loved it anyway. Perfect depth for our 5-year-old to just be able to stand on her own in the shallow end. Wireless internet (free) was easy to connect to and reasonably quick for downloads. Favorite was breakfast - the usual hot fare, plus a pancake machine instead of the usual waffle maker. Pancakes came out better and were much less hassle to make. We would definitely stay again, and the price we paid was pretty decent considering the location and amenities.
