Polar bears welcome

Waited 10 minutes before anyone checked me in. Hallways smelled like garbage. Wallpaper coming off walls. Ice cold shower. No hot water on my room, however, they said sorry.

There was a slight water pressure problem that we were told right up front about (and were given a nice price compensation for). The staff person was very nice, and the problem was not a big deal. We'd stay again certainly.

Bad shower, either scalding hot water or freezing cold. Front desk lady was nasty.

Could not take a shower. No water pressure. Water trickled from the shower head and faucet. Had to run hot water for 10 minutes before it was hot enought to use. Once you left the room, room key had to be reprogramed by front desk before you could enter room. Would never stay there again. If I had not paid in advance I probably would have asked for bill to be reduced substantially.

No hot water at all! No water pressure either!

$151 a night dump! The hotel was horrible. No hot water upon arrival on a Sat at 4pm. Still no hot water on Sunday. We had to check out early and go home early from our trip because of it. They didn't even warn us before we paid at check in. I had to call the desk and inquire when I attempted to shower and turned the water on and it dripped out. Nothing came out! This was unreal! We had purchased tix to an event so we had to get ready without water and get to event. Then after being out all evening we got back and still no hot water or pressure! Horrible experience!

Pros: The bed was comfortable. The desk clerk was helpful and friendly.
We had stayed there two years ago and it has not improved. Carpet in the hallway was and still is loose and wavy. Room supplies short towels, coffee and no Kleenex.

Everything was good for the price!

We'd stayed there before and would do so again for an overnight stay on the way to somewhere. It's convenient and clean. The front desk people were both very pleasant and helpful both in the afternoon and in the morning.

Do not judge a book by its cover, sometimes bad.

Pros: Continental breakfast was good.
Cons: Hallways appearance, odor (smoky and bad), linens in room need upgrade.
Location: Location terrific for a spot between Albany and Saratoga.
The hotel appeared great from the exterior, but it was not. Terrible odor in hallway, carpet was coming up and ceiling had damage. The room was clean, but the linens and pillows were very skimpy. The bathroom was very small and there was next to NO water pressure. I know it was track season in Saratoga, but for the price I expected more. Very disappointed!
