Good value. Room is small but very well designed and comfortable. The staff were helpful. Travellers should note: no refrigerators in rooms or avaible for an extra fee.

I stayed at the Microtel in Albany, NY. Cozy little well-designed rooms (the window seat was great), friendly staff, well-maintained property, and easy access to freeways make this a very good value for the money. I would definitely stay there again.

This Microtel has friendly helpful people working there, at front desk and elsewhere. Location is very good, near diners/restaurants/highway. Breakfast offerings basic and fine. Appreciate the use of a free copy machine. Overall, good experience, second time. I'll be back next year. Price is right, service is just fine.

“It's a Microtel, not a Resort!”

I think people are too focused on the "resort experience" as some of the reviews left me with low expectations. Well, for $55 I was very pleasantly surprised! Yes, the rooms are small (compared to higher end hotels) BUT ARE CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE! The bathroom was very clean and had great water pressure. The staff were pleasant and helpful. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend this hotel for people who are interested in a clean, comfortable room to sleep for the night. But, if you're looking for a spa resort, this (obviously) isn't the choice to make ;-).

“Perfect for the price”

My husband and I stayed here for one night after arriving on a late flight and before we hit the roads the next morning. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean without smelling like disinfectant, and we slept well. The room was small, but we didn't need anything special. It was very quiet and the shower was awesome. If you are looking for a small, comfortable, affordable place to spend a few nights, I highly recommend this hotel.
