Decent, reasonable, comfortable

Posted May 11, 2015
I made a reservation but they did not have a record of it when I got there. It didn't matter as they were not booked. Front desk guy was friendly. Room was attractive and comfortable. I have paid more to have the same type of room. Fridge didn't work, but they brought a new one right up. I thought it was a nice place to stay at a very reasonable price, especially in this day and age.

What do you expect

Posted Apr 18, 2015
You can only expect so much for a $60 stay. Wifi spotty at best with the expected excuse of its a work in progress.

No pool. Breakfast? Donuts or bagels or front loops.

Hotel needs a makeover.

Posted Dec 1, 2014
We stayed here because it was the only option available when attending a wedding. Old furniture and old uncomfortable mattresses. I would have used the towels for rags at home. Not much to choose from at the continental breakfast. Hotel really needs a makeover!

Not impressed.

Got in room and there was hair on bathroom floor. Pool left an orange residue on me. One of the main reasons I went was the hot tub, and the hot tub closed. Got out of the shower after getting the orange off. There was a strangers hair on me from the towel they had in the room.

Should have known

Posted Sep 12, 2013
Pros: It had a bed...
Cons: Everything
Location: Lots of construction and traffic
Rooms had hair all over the bathroom. Blood on the comforter. One staff member "noted the problem" and I highly doubt nothing was done to deter it. The room smelled almost moldy. No way will I ever stay there ever again. Ill sleep in my car

Its ok if you don't have other options...

Pros: It's close if you need to be around Albany
Cons: Not worth the price anymore.
Location: Easy to find
We have been staying at this hotel regularly for the past 10+ years and the quality and value has deteriorated to the point where I think we will begin stayimg elsewhere. The price is very high for the quality and lack of a decent breakfast, the staff was slovenly, and it was in obvious that little had been spent on upkeep--mattresses, towels, etc-- I'm a while. Should have made the effort to stay a Country Inn.

Avoid this one

Posted Jul 30, 2012
Pros: Porch was nice. Sitting out on a nice evening
Cons: Middle aged man at front desk wasn't very friendly. Carpets were damp and smelled musty.
Location: Location was OK for travelers stopping for a night but I wouldn't spend more than one night there
Paid too much per night for this hotel. For less money you could overlook some of the run-down feel but not at what we paid. Carpet was wet and room didn't smell very fresh when we arrived.
